I choose to shop here because it is on the way to my rental in Carmichael. I prefer the way this store is organized rather than the Carmichael store. I know the Carmichael store was not originally a Home Depot so that is why it is layed out the way it is. The Truxel store feels less cluttered and better organized. The staff at Truxel is friendly and courteous and helpful.

This store is worth going out of your way to vist. The staff and Managers are amazing and are truly knowledgeable and patient with all your questions.

Jason, the employee from the gardening department was helpful. However, there is this older and taller gentleman who works in the gardening section that I find him NOT approachable. He is not friendly and can be intimidating.

RJ assisted me with a purchase in the garden center and provided amazing customer service. He even helped me load the heavy bags of sand into my car.

There was a decline in talented staff over he years but the past year or so, it seems like there is a greater focus in hiring more competent staff and it is starting to show. Go there at least twice a week to purchase various things for home improvement projects and am very appreciative of the customer service I get when I'm there.

Awesome store and Manager

If you need decent lumber get there early before the illegals grab it all. And so you dont get cut in line...obviously they dont wait in lines they just sneak in. Store used to be reputable but the neighborhood has become over run. Get there early and no problem

I am a middle aged female who does not frequently need to buy things that fall into the realm of Home Depot. However, when I do I always go to this Home Depot. It is convenient to where I live, but more importantly I always find that the employees at this store are helpful and friendly. If I need help, they help me to find what I'm looking for. If I have questions, they answer my questions. If the first person I ask does not know they answer, they track down someone who does. Since it is a huge store, I appreciate the assistance. I always feel like I am a valued customer even though my purchases are few and far between.

The associate's in this store are AWESOME! From all the store's I visited in the years, this one has the best team effort and they really go out of the way too help!

The absolute best checkout and customer service in California!

The overall disappointment, was the quality of plant material and lack of loading help with bulky or heavy items.

I recently made a visit and needed help with taking out my garden stuff. It was amazing, Anthony in Garden made every effort to see that each plant I purchased had a bag. It's not often that I see such effort from people throughout my life. I enjoy the effort the store Mgr. Ryan takes to find "GOOD PEOPLE" . GOOD JOB! Anthony and Ryan (Store Mgr)

When planting your tomato garden this year please visit the "Tomato Hippies" in the garden shop! They are amazing!

The store has a great selection of merchandise and the staff are always knowledgeable and helpful.

Was having a good day on my day off and decided to do some yard work. Went to Home Depot and a damper was thrown on my day. When I got in line, I was the next person to be waited on. After the clerk finished the transaction, she spent about 10 minutes talking to the customer before even acknowledging that I was there. I was totally ignored, devalued. The other cashier (at another register) waited on 3-4 customers while I was waiting to be checked out. She obviously did not value my time; didn't value my money; or even that I was a frequent customer.

Make sure you have Cherie, Maricela, Thelma and Adelina to help you. Thank you for going above and beyond to help me with this particular project. Having these group helping me made my shopping experience a lot easier when walking the store for about 2 hours in high heels.

I appreciate the knowledge of the staff who assist me when I go in with questions. Their guidance is invaluable in my home maintenance episodes!

Occasionally, I remember promotions months later. I guess it's the MEDS...LOL. After inquiring, Brian(Hardware) went the extra mile to ask Ryan (Sore Magr). I received my answer with the efficiency of "Seal Team Six" I also told the store manager (Ryan) about my possessed lawn mower (Toro) Two priests,gallons of Holly Water and an exorcism could not solve the issue! Within seconds he did! I wish to nominate Ryan and Brian for the 2017, Home-Depot Congressional Medal for exceptional customer service. I award this sotre 10 STARS -Pastor Tom :)

John Modica in the window/doors department was extremely helpful and I felt as though he went above and beyond. He's not pushy and I'd say is an ideal sales associate that others should aspire to emulate. He has a good deal of knowledge and doesn't rush the process. Whatever you are paying him isn't enough. :)

The team here truly cares for there clients! RJ, Sulk, and Richard were relentless in finding a product that had been placed in the highest and elusive of places!

Everything was neatly arranged to find what I needed

It only takes one bad apple to upset the cart. In this case, the bad apple happens to work in returns. Lilia is either lazy and doesn't want to do the job she was hired to do, or she is discriminating. Either way, I had to go to the assistant manager, Mario and a little telephone support from another store location, before I was given a price adjustment. The other store employees I have dealt with in the past are up to par and beyond. Cudos to them!! This location is close to me and I hate to have to drive farther to get the help and respect any customer should receive! I have been a Home Depot customer for over 40 years so I am familiar with their return policies. Too bad I had to take things so far to get the adjustment.

Really good store, easy to find items and clean

We had excellent and patient sales personnel when purchasing a new washer and dryer...my particular wants and the layout of the location of the washer and dryer in our home gave us some issues in finding a matching set that could work (it seems buying a washer and dryer isn't as easy ANYWHERE as it used to because there are so many options...some desirable and some not).
