Not a fan of only self-checkout
The store is clean enough, I can find most things I want on the app and use it to direct me to the right aisle. It's challenging to find customer service that isn't already tasked somewhere else. I strongly dislike the self-checkout though. The volume is too loud and I feel like I'm being yelled at and the design of the computers in a row makes it hard to navigate carts in to scan, around other customers, and out the door. I'd much rather they go back to human checkouts logically designed than make me do all of the work myself in an awkward setup.

      Horrible customer service from the management
      They advertise a sale on Milwaukee and don’t honor it because they don’t have the charger in stock. I said I don’t need the charger, you guys can keep it and I’ll still pay the same amount of the sale. (They make more money on that deal as they don’t have to include a charger in the sale deal) So instead of $200 for batteries and fan the manager just rang it up to $320 because they don’t have the charger to give me. How does that make sense, it doesn’t. Horrible store and horrible management

          Enjoy shopping at Home Depot
          I enjoy shopping at Home Depot, they have everything you could need for your home. It is ever relaxing and I get a good walk in too.

            Bad return policy
            This store has the worst return policy they wont take back anything if you dont have your receipt not even for store credit and they act like your trying to pull some kinda fast one when you return stuff. in my line of work returns happen im on tight project budgets and i dont have the spsce to store unused materials so i have go make regurns from time to time and i resent being treated like a criminal because of it i work hard for the money i make and its just a rude way to treat customers . Home Depot in genral went from having a wonderful return policy to one of the worst. I relize alot of people probably do steal but i dont so i wo I ld say hire better lose prevention that can find out who the actual thieves are and whos a paying customer and i go to the truxel home depot at least twice a week if not more you would think they would know by now im a paying customer and i spend hundreds of dollars per visit too. But otherbthsn that its well organized and most of the staff is friendly and somewhat knowledgeable.

              I had some issues in the past, but thanks to The managers Josha and Tonya, they resolved my issues very quickly. I will definitely be stopping by the strudel Home Depot anytime I’m in the Sacramento area!

                  This is the second garage door opener, because the first one didn’t work. Haven’t installed the second- newest one yet. … A nice out of stock sign is nice when they are out of items. I had to drive to another Home Depot to get another machine. Luckily they had one. I’m a pro rewards member. Funny thing though. I gave the associate my phone number, she said my name, then all of a sudden my phone number was transposed. That took IT 10 minutes to figure out how that happened. So, yeah, a little more info ahead of time would lower my anxiety. Thanks Courtney.

                        If you’re lucky, you’ll get an engaging cashier in Garden Dept
                        Needed to spruce up flower pots. Found a few but what made the shopping experience extra pleasant was the friendly cashier. Quite the personality.

                          EE's are more worried about closing early and leaving than they are about customer service
                          Arrived at 7:50pm got to the door at 7:54 pm told the girl I needed ONE item, that it was right by the door and it would only take me a minute to grab and purchase, she was soo rude and kept stating NO we are closed, even after trying to explaining HOW important the item was and that I needed it right away, she kept speaking over me stating no WE ARE CLOSED, and get it wasn't 8pm yet (when they are supposed to close) I have NEVER been treated with such disrespect in myife as I was by this rude female EE.

                            Problem with items not being in stock
                            We are wondering if other customers are experiencing the same problem as us: the website will say there are many items in stock, and when we go to the store, the shelf is empty. We waste our time driving to the Home Depot for nothing. The cashiers tell us maybe it's because people are stealing them, but that is no excuse. They should have better security if theft is that rampant. And they should update their records showing that there are no items in stock, if that is the case.

                              Thank you for helping me and going above and beyond. I’ve been having so many problems with purchases and special orders. My screen security door took 3 months to get and the screen itself keeps clanking upon opening and closing the screen security door . I can’t even possibly pay to have it removed, returned and wait another 2-3 months for a replacement. Richard helped me with my door lock/handle. Thank you for listening to me complain about the door, you are very kind and helpful.

                                Some people just stand out
                                I had a very nice experience with Brenda at the Garden Dept then the next day I saw her at another dept and she was also pleasant to deal with. I was really stressed because of the extreme heat and having to do a project for my backyard and having a kind HD employee like BRENDA helping and smiling makes an unpleasant day so much BETTER!!! Thank you!

                                    Found a fan I needed and it was on sale but rang up for regular price. I was about to pay for it but Ryan let me know it should be cheaper. He adjusted the price and saved me quite a bit.

                                      When finally being helped, I was helped by Jeremy Quinliven. Very knowledgeable when explaining things. Need to return item though. Both Refrigerators have a dent in them.

                                        Devin H went out of his way.
                                        Went to Home Depot for 4 braided faucet supply lines. Plumbing had every size but the ones I needed. Looked on the app. Said they had 128. Could not see in inventory. Devin H, plumbing associate asked if I needed help. I told him the situation. He looked in his handheld. His said they had 136. Ther was a picture taken at inventor (cool feature) he located the box with items. Went to get a mobile staircase and an associate. Retrieved my items and I was in my way. Oh, as I was leaving he restocked the empty area. Thanks Devin H. Excellent customer service.

                                          Long Overdue THANK YOU
                                          Long overdue, but I finally have the appropriate words. I remember walking into this Home Depot on July 17, 2023 with only a handful of words and names in my memory and vocabulary exactly 1 week after I suffered from a major brain stroke. Using a few words and lots of help from my wife, I asked for Suk, the Assistant Manager who I first met approximately in 2012. My wife explained to Suk that I had considered this location my Zen garden and my problem solvers and I was there to see Suk. With mostly hand actions and a few words I told him, I was looking for something needed to fix a damaged fence… I did keep apologizing for the lack of words and he stopped me and told me that I didn’t need to keep apologizing. He reintroduced me to Justin and told me to ask for either of them any time I was there, and they would solve my problems patiently. As Suk has known me for over a decade as a local business owner and home owner, he shared my plight with the rest of his team of associates and reminding many of them who have met me and others who haven’t that I need help. Over the days, weeks and months many have walked up to me, checked in on my well-being and reminded me how we’ve met, etc. I have always walked away because they solved my problem for me. Some of the folks, I remember meeting before my stroke and after, but most importantly, all of them I’d like to thank. Some of the folks my name I’d like to thank besides Suk and Justin are (in no specific order) Hardware: Jeremy, Dan, Allen, Fadi, (Tuesday & Friday part-timer guy); Paint: Carey; Electrical – Paul, Woody; Customer Service: Danae, Richard, (the young gentleman at the pro desk (his name begins with A… Andrew or Anthony) and his colleague); Unknown Department: Mykelle, Rudy, Jonathan, Nick, Tonya, Roberto; Cashiers: Sara, Moriah, Nancy, Curtis; Other managers Naz, Tall RJ, Eddie, the lovely lady as well; The Milwaukee Rep (I think its Isaiah); Loss Prevention department as well. Sorry if I forgot anyone’s names, but you all are appreciated. THANK YOU, MY Home Depot at Truxel Road. Once again THANK YOU Suk, your leadership leaves a positive impact all over within the store and in many hearts and minds like mine. Spending so much more time, in this store since my stroke, I am regaining my vocabulary, memory, physical ability, and a smile. I salute you.

                                              My husband and I have been working on a remodel for the last several months. We’ve frequented the store more than anywhere else having to return the wrong sized parts we’ve purchased. There were a few instances our returns were past the return date and Rowena worked her magic to help process the returns. I can’t tell you how much stress and money she has saved us. We are now ProMax members and look forward to seeing her on the weekends. Customer service can be so transactional, without any compassion, but she truly has gone above and beyond for us.

                                                      Fabyian was polite and patient. He took the time to understand my project and Was very informative In helping me buy the right products. He also helped me lift heavy items And provided excellent customer service. Michael Was also very helpful he saw that I was struggling to carry the heavy sandbag, and he offered to help me and even got a new one for me because the one I originally had rippedI will definitely return to this Home Depot specifically because of the customer service they provided.
