Great staff

I love coming to this location. The store is always neat and clean and the sales associates are always very friendly and helpful. The online ordering process is very easy and the customer service desk gets me in and out of there quickly. Keep up the good work!

The experience was fine like other stores...except for the long lines for returns, that took awhile. Although, one thing did stand out as AMAZING!!!!! In Dept 25 Nilgun Urkmez-Malloy a sales person on the floor in hardware was so helpful. Every question I threw at her she answered with confidence and ease. I was shocked, I wasn't expecting her to know much more than I did. I asked for her name specifically to write in to you guys to let you know that because of her instead of giving 3 stars I would give 5 stars!!!

EMPLOYEES ARE ALWAYS HELPFUL. IT IS UNDERSTANDABLE THAT THERE WEREN'T ENOUGH EMPLOYEES SOMETIMES TO ASSIST YOU, BUT SOMEONE WILL IF YOU ASK AND WAIT.

Employees were really helpful. Checkout and return was a very easy process.

At this location, being an avid Home depot shopper, I found out this is their satellite shop which stocks the most product of most locations. They also do maintain better prices than Lowes. The reason Lowes charges more is because they tailor to people who are not as mechanically inclined, thereby, focusing on a great deal of customer service.

As I walked in I was greeted and asked if I needed any help. I noticed the store was much more organized and cleaner than the last time I was in Home Depot. I asked directions for my particular plumbing problem from the greeter, and he immediately gave me the aisle number and location in the aisle that I would find my parts. I was "in" and "out" in 5 minutes! Now that's friendly, knowledgable, fast service!

Although we usually receive excellent customer service at this location, we had a terrible experience with a cashier by the name of Kathy. Her rude and condescending attitude was our last impression before leaving the store. In attempting to help her clear her counter as she scanned items, she became aggressive and accusatory and made us feel as if we were attempting to steal an item (an American flag for $19.97 of all things!). I have never been so embarrassed nor have I ever received such terrible customer experience. I would much rather drive a little further to Lowe's or Osh in order to receive better customer service.

When picking out a color for restoring vintage/antique furniture (i needed spray paint), the guy at the paint counter was rude and rushed me and was rude to clients around us and made me feel that it was my fault that he cannot help them and stood there over me telling me to just get the white color. Decisions like that are not supposed to be rushed, I wanted to compare several different crème and off-whites from different companies to get the right one for the restoration project. He made me feel so bad and so pressured to pick whatever color and just leave, that i dropped all of it and left. While I have to come back to HD for landscaping product to finish my yard with the same pavers, I will go to a different home improvements store for color and other things going forward.

The store is clean and well organized. The employees are knowledgeable and helpful. It also has an amazing amount of merchandise items. I always seem to be able to find what I want at this store.

Gerard, one of the representatives at the Van Nuys Home Depot, provided professional, friendly, and knowledgeable service. He advised getting an adapter rather than a whole new faucet to connect to my portable washer, which helped me save good money. He knew all the pieces I needed. When one part was missing, he did not give up on the search. He ended up finding the most important adapter in the crevice in the ground where all the products hang! Thank you, Gerard, for your excellent service!

Our purchase required a wait because they had to use a forklift and that took a few minutes to get.. Twice, while we waited, our salesperson came back to make sure we were OK and to let us know the lift was on its way. He didn't want us to worry that we had been deserted. Very thoughtful!

The store employees kept me on focus to fulfill my needs. As a result of the knowledge of the checkout person I went home with everything I need. They pointed out my missing a part of the product I was purchasing. I find myself looking for a reason to go back.
