All store employees were helpful to not only me, but other customers as well. CHeck out was quick and hassle free.

The Home Depot has the friendliest staff and very helpful, when asking for a product they go and help you find your product.

Loading zone poorly organized and not staffed. Garden staff not sufficiently helpful in loading lumber materials.

I am totally displeased with the way I am treated by the security at the exit of your store. I was treated very disrespectfully and sarcastically by the security you employ. I commonly spend thousands of dollars annually at your store. No smile, No yes sir, No, No sir, I get treated like a prisoner in prison from security. I never get this kind of treatment from your competitors. The Van Nuys store is the worse. You would fare better if you got rid of the private security firm that you employ and use your own Home Depot employees. From, Dissatisfied Customer.

Moises took the time, while he was walking to a break, to help me and my associate with a Home Depot purchase. He listened and advised us on an approach that we had not considered. I am very glad I had the opportunity to talk to him.

On this visit, we were searching for material to patch and fortify our roof prior to the predicted rains of El Niño. The asphalt emulsion was readily available (in fact, this was a return trip to get more of the same product, due to availability and price). We also needed a couple of small items, and, of course, we had to visit the lawn and garden department. Barely a trip goes by that we don't stop there to get an additional plant for the house or yard. We also purchased a dog pen recently, on line, and it was a good price, speedy delivery, and easy to put together. Rarely have we had to return anything. The other great thing is the people who work in this store. They are terrific and always helpful.

The cashier, Monica (MMG638) was outstanding and very efficient. She seemed to know what to do, when to do it, and how to do it without mistakes. There were plenty of employees that were hard at work. I used the restroom, which was quite acceptable in its cleanliness.

To much item in the floor unattended . Not stocked on racks or employees working on it.

Home depot is a great place for me to shop in general. What can I say, Its a candy store for guys like me.

Marissa (MCI2255) was extremely courteous and helpful. I placed multiple orders with some items found in-store and other items that had to be delivered. She did multiple rounds to will-call to verify items where ready for pickup. I also wanted to return some items which she handled with ease. Her patience, professionalism and attention to detail is among the best I have seen by retail CS associates. By the time I arrived at the store, everything was waiting for me. The transaction went swiftly. Marissa made my visit to the Van Nuys HD enjoyable and stress-free. Thank you!

I've spent my career in the design industry, and in all honesty, Home Depot runs circles around many of high end, by appointment only showrooms I've dealt with. The store is always clean, items are priced very well and easy to find. Anytime I've needed assistance, I was taken care of beyond what I would have expected. I appreciate that.

I had to return an item at a different Home Depot than usual and I was pleasantly surprised by this Home Depot. Wish it were my home store. Seemed easy to get around, very helpful staff, plenty of partking.

I'm always able to find the product(s) I need to buy with no problems. Prices are always within my price range.

I always find whatever I need to fix things around the house. As both a retiree and a Veteran, the people are always helpful with advice as well as the Military Discount provided Vets

I passed the poor suckers waiting at the Returns line as I was walking in. One register open with that one person working that long line, while 2 other employees chatted a couple of feet away. Went on my way to find an exterior door and I need to give credit where credit is due. Amazing service and help from a Latino male employee in that department. Absolutely no complaints. He was knowledgeable and attentive, making my trip easy...or so I thought. I get up the the registers to pay and see the long lines. Self-service is open with no line. I found out why pretty quickly. The cashier stationed there is on one power trip, he loves to look at you without saying a word and then proceeds to ignore you under the pretense of "putting out fires." I had to call him over for help 5 times. He ignored my request for a manager and finally assisted me, only to show me by walking away again right when the register needed his override on something. What choice did I have but to take it? My choice now is to shop at Lowe's. I knew there was a reason I liked Lowe's better.

Store is just ok. Needs to be more clean. Employees too rude. Bathrooms horrible. At check out employees don't care to say hello or goodbye.

I asked 4 employees for help on a product but they kept passing the buck to next guy. I got help from another customer after having waited 30 min. They all say hi and are you finding everything ok but when you ask for help " oh I don't work in this department " is the standard answer.

the cashier made sure that someone came out and helped me load the red bricks into my car. It never occured to ask for someone to help me. when I tried to give the employee a tip, he refused telling me it was his job.
