How do I seal around a door?

If you have cold air seeping in under the door, check your door sweep, the rubber piece on the door bottom, for cracks and missing pieces. Replace it if needed. When a house settles unevenly, pieces that once fit snugly can go off-kilter. Gaps can form around the sides of doors or the thresholds may loosen with time. Fill the space with weather stripping or foam tape, and caulk any cracks in the wooden door frame. If you're still feeling drafts around the door, place an insulated fabric door snake along the ground.

Are Kids Workshops offered at the W Tallahassee Home Depot?

Yes, the W Tallahassee store does offer in-person Kids Workshops. These in-store events are free and take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am-noon. Registration for workshops is now available online. We have a new kit pack every month to keep your little doer engaged. Included in the kits are all necessary craft materials, as well as instructions, stickers, an apron pin, a certificate of achievement, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Paint and all other required tools are provided at the event. Kits may be ordered online at our Kids Projects Activities page or picked up in-store if you prefer to participate in the workshop from home. Visit our customer service counter or call us to order your kit.

How do I check the balance of my Home Depot gift card?

Home Depot gift cards are a popular present for birthdays, housewarming parties, and the holidays. DIYers know they're fun to receive and to give. You can buy gift cards at our stores or online at homedepot.com. If you're a recipient, you can visit your local Home Depot store and ask a cashier to check the balance for you or check your gift card balance online. Use our gift cards to shop online or redeem them in-store, all with no additional fees.

Does my store offer curbside pickup?

Yes, we do have curbside pickup. Order online for store pickup daily until 6 p.m. Here's how:

Shop Online and choose the "Store Pickup" option in your cart or on the product page.
After your order is processed, you'll get an email or text message telling you that it's ready to be picked up.
Go to the Curbside Pickup area at The Home Depot store you chose online. From your car, follow the instructions in the text message or email about Curbside Pickup.

Friendly Helpful Store Personnel

I came down to Tallahassee from Michigan to help my son build a hen house. The store is clean, well stocked and was the only lumber yard nearby to carry 2 x 3 x 8' needed for the roosts. Thanks Home Depot team!

Great Customer Service...

NOT. The store seldom has cashiers during busy shopping hours but self-checkout is always available. Home Depot does not offer discounts to all honorably discharged Veterans...only to slect Veterans.

Great shopping experience

Whatever Home Depot is doing, they need to continue.....they had more employees on the floor, then I have seen in a number of years. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Thank you to BILL for getting the lumber we needed, off the shelves, and JC for loading it in our truck. Cashier was also very nice too.

I don't need to see a cashier's underwear.

The cashier spent a lot of time pulling his pants up and then letting fall back down half way over his butt. It's definitely not something that I appreciate and I'm certainly glad my wife didn't have to see this. Where are the managers? What has happened to accountability of employees?
