I always visit this home depot if I am in the area it is always clean and always has helpful workers.

On April 2, 2024 I had a fence installed at my home in Warren, MI 48093 by your installation company AIS Installations customer order. The company came out and installed the fence in the rain causing us to have over 20 hours of clean-up due to clay and mud left all over my lawn, sidewalk ,driveway and fence. We had filled an entire compost bin and filled 13 lawn bags with clay that was strewn all over our property. (I had even questioned why would they install in the rain?) The fence was so full of mud and dirt we also spent a total of 2 hours power washing and scrubbing it. The cost of this project was $7944.00 which included clean-up as noted on the quote. We paid a total of half down $3972.00 at the start of the project. We have been long time customers of Home Depot and did a ton of research and saved money before deciding on a company to install the fence. We are in our late 50’s and do not have the ability to do this type of project on our own due to health issues and still ended up spending 20 hours on clean-up. I placed a complaint with the installation service AIS and they said ,”this was the first time their crew had installed in the rain” and laughed and said “at least the fence looks good.” I called Home Depot’s customer service representative Laurie M. at 1-800-910-6704 ext 85031 with pictures and videos of all the clean-up that needed to be done. She asked us what we thought our compensation should be and we said $800.00 based on all the hours we spent on clean-up. On April 30th she had sent me an email stating that they were denying the claim and would only issue $300.00 We have been trying to get in touch with her to no avail. We have sent her several emails and have called 2-3 times a week throughout the month of May and she will not return our phone calls. We finaly heard back that nothing can be done. Basically, you hire Home Depot to ruin your yard and just want you to accept that is the way it is. In the meantime,the installation company is sending certified letters and threatening collection for the remaining balance.

Went in looking for a portable phone charger & Kyle was the best ever! He was so helpful & super nice ! He looked around the registers first for the chargers then asked another employee if they have seen them & he still didn’t give up. Kyle looked up the chargers on his ipad pad thingy then took me to the electrical area to look & still didn’t give up he contacted an employee over the walki in electrical & started looking & he found them went up on the ladder & got them down. He was awesome!

I purchased a deep freezer online but when I opened the box it was damaged. The freezer was picked up then the issue began with the refund. Long story short, we did not get a full refund, however Cynthia and Laurie went over an beyond to resolve the issue and we got our deep freezer that was not damaged. Thank you both

They do have 11% rebates that are not advertised. Look up on line to fill out the rebate form, no mailing required!

They changed their policy regarding Veteran's discounts, forcing us to download the app, so they can collect more of our private information. Other retailers don't hassle us and truly honor our service, not just lip-service. We have choices and don't need HD's BS.
