Hi there. If your LG dryer is blowing cold air and not warm or hot air, this is likely due to a blockage in the dryer air flow, making dry times longer than usual. Check out these troubleshooting tips here: https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/lg-dryer-why-is-my-dryer-not-heating-not-drying-or-taking-a-long-time-drying--1432223739634. Is there anything showing on the display for the ENERGY STAR® Certified LG 7.3 cu. Ft. Electric Dryer with Sensor Dry Technology, Model # DLE7100W? What you are describing sounds like you may have inadvertently activated the Control Lock feature on the dryer (see page 34 in your owner's manual). Some cycle option buttons on the dryer also activate secondary functions. These special functions are marked with an asterisk (*). Pressing and holding the option button marked with the special function activates it. Control Lock is a secondary function that prevents unwanted use of the dryer or can be used to keep cycle settings from being changed while the dryer is operating. When activated, the Control Lock icon will be shown in the display, and all controls will be disabled except the POWER button. Once set, the Control Lock remains active until it is manually deactivated. Control Lock must be turned off to run another cycle. To deactivate Control Lock, press and hold the *Control Lock button for 3 seconds...^Ivan.
As indicated in its title, the ENERGY STAR® Certified LG 7.3 cu. Ft. Electric Dryer with Sensor Dry Technology, Model # DLE7100W is an 'electric' dryer. It only uses electricity. We do not have any dual fuel dryers in our lineup...^Ivan.
Hi there! A tE1 error code indicates a problem with the dryer's thermistor. To do a reset, please unplug the dryer or trip the circuit breaker supplying power to the dryer. While the dryer remains without power, press and hold the Start/ Pause button for 5 seconds. Restore power to the dryer and attempt to run another cycle. If the te1 error code persists after resetting the dryer, the unit may require a repair service. In such case, please send us a private message on social media (@LGUSSupport) with your phone, model, & serial number. We'd be happy to help reach a resolution you're satisfied with! ^Chris
Hi there, we see that you are contacting us regarding the dryer running with no heat on the normal cycle. This dryer is equipped with a sensor control drying. There could be many reasons that this is happening. Due to the idea that you've made sure that you don't have any blockages, the sensors could be off. Sounds like the dryer is not able to detect the level of wetness of the garments or the load size is too large for the dryer to detect the level of wetness, thus adjusting accordingly. Please contact us on social media using the handle @LGUSSupport or our live Chat: http://spr.ly/6420Rnpeg with the serial/model number and a good phone number so that we can gladly investigate your concerns and get you a speedy resolution. ~Tanisha

The ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 7.3 cu. ft. Ultra Large Capacity Electric Dryer with Sensor Dry Technology, Model # DLE7150W does not have an interior light. ~Tanisha
In the two years that you have owned the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 7.3 cu. ft. Electric Dryer with Sensor Dry Technology, Model # DLE7100W, how often have you cleaned the sensors to ensure that they are free of dust or dirt? Do you use dryer sheets? As for the dryer not heating consistently, have you had your ducts checked to ensure that they are not clogged with lint buildup? This dryer features Flow Sense™, an innovative sensing system that automatically detects blockages and restrictions in dryer ductwork. Keeping your ductwork clean of lint buildup and free of restrictions allows clothes to dry faster and reduces energy use. Please refer to the Installation Test (Duct Check) instructions on page 25 of your owner's manual for the dryer to see how to perform a duct check to see if your exhaust system is severely restricted and will need to be cleaned...^Ivan
