This is a good, reasonably priced awning. We considered a pergola, but decided to try this as a less expensive alternative. We are pleased with out purchase. It shades the west side of our house during the heat of the day. It makes our house much cooler.

Cant find an installer
It was relatively easy to put together. My sons (2) had it out of the box and assembled in about an hour. But because of where my windows are, it needs to be mounted on the roof and I cant find anyone to do that for me. Awning companies only install if you buy from them. Roofing contractors won't do it. 2 general contractors I spoke with don't know how to do it. I'm sure I would love it more if I could find someone to actually put the thing up for me. It's been laying face down on my deck for over a month.

I'm sorry; I can't give you a definitive answer on how good it is yet; however it looks good. I just finished installing it but haven't had a chance to really use it yet. It was assembled and installed with a moderate of amount of work. So far; so good. Thanks and have a good day.Barry Cannizzaro

After assembly, the awning does not roll up consistently. ...
After assembly, the awning does not roll up consistently. The fabric is not equal on both sides. The locking cover for fabric does not work. The center of the roller does not stay straight causing the fabric to rub on center joint.
