A:  Just buy another Ames rake. The rake is a one piece deal, and you need to take the broken one in to trade out for any warranty that came with it.

A:  Didn’t bother to look, but I think it’s 90days. Which is standard.

A:  I wasn't aware of the warranty information. I just bought it because it is very sturdy and I seem to break the ones that are made poorly. So far I have had no problems with it .

A:  Sorry. I purchased mine over a year ago and there is no legible label that indicates where it was manufactured. It is a rugged, reliable rake.

Q:Is this a light weight rake? I have many heavy duty rakes, need lightweight rake to pick up small stuff easily.

      Answer This Question

A:  This is a medium to heavy duty rake and is comparable in weight to other leaf rakes of its size. This rake is not quite as wide as some wider rakes to make it easier to rake in tight spaces. The tines on this rake are spaced close enough together to pick up small items such as acorns, leaves, pine needles, etc. If you need a small light weight rake there are several shrub rakes available that are designed for raking around shrubs and gardens.

      by|Apr 22, 2019

A:  Fairly light weight, spring steel tines. i would prefer the handle be larger in diameter though.

      by|Jun 18, 2019

      A:  Yes, it's very lightweight.

      by|May 23, 2019

A:  That is what I would consider a Light Weight Rake used for raking a lawn or garden of grass clippings, weeds, leaves, and sticks. Hope this helps.

        by|Apr 23, 2019

A:  This is a good leaf and grass rake. We wanted it because it handles well, works well and is easy to maneuver. A perfect rake for the smaller everyday projects.

This rake serves the purpose that I bought it for. Its a little flimsy but it seems strong enough.

The wooden handle broke the 2nd time I used it. I've only had it 1 week! Called the manufacturer and they didn't care just told me to return to home depot which I plan to do. So instead of raking I'll be spending my time in the return line at home depot.

              Rugged Steel Leaf Rake
This leaf rake is constructed well to last for years. The steel frame of this leaf rake is bolted to a hardwood handle which prevents the handle from coming off the rake. The steel tines on the rake are supported well by a steel frame and spreader plate. A pair of coil springs attached to the spreader plate helps make raking more comfortable by reducing the amount of shock transferred to the handle of the rake while raking. The steel tines on the rake are spaced approximately 1" apart which is ideal spacing for raking up acorns, leaves, pine needles and other yard debris.
