36 in. x 80 in. 3000 Series Sandtone Right-Hand Fullview Easy Install Aluminum Storm Door with Nickel Hardware is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 1405.

It is very nice to be able to open my front door and have the daylight in my house each day, and also cool air with the screen during the spring and fall. Changing the screen or glass is a nightmare. I cannot get the clamps to sit back in at all. One is barely in (bottom), the other is bowed (top). I just pray that the glass doesn't fall out. I had this door installed by Home Depot, and it didn't take long at all. I wish I would have practiced this with the installer because it is impossible. My only other complaint about the door is it snaps back at you when you are trying to get in the house. I shouldn't have to lock it open just to walk inside. Overall, I do love the door, and would definitely get a screen/glass removal lesson.

The person who helped me install the door is someone who does home repair and Renos as a business. The advertised 45 minutes for installation is a joke because: the instructions are very poor and incomplete, Andersen's helpline is "manned" by persons who are speaking English as a second language and are essentially reading the instruction book back to you; the latch and lock are very difficult to install and parts are nonfunctional (the up-down latch on this door) -- it took several hours to get the latch installed where everything worked because the instructions said notch should be down whereas it should point to the edge of door, for example; the trim covering for the screws on outside of door is of cheap design and difficult to install; the door closers are too strong and cannot be adjusted so as not to almost knock a person down upon entering the house through the storm door. I have installed another brand of storm door and it was much easier to install

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Doors and Sturdy For the price, the appearance is a game changer for any home. I purchased my home alittle over 2yrs ago and of course it only came with a solid door. I need outside stimuli so I had a contractor install this door. He took forever but the result was phenomenal. I recently purchased a door for my back door, although it is also glass, I wanted to the door to be physically open. It took me alittle over an hour but other than some terminology in directions, it was easy for me to install and I'm a handicap/disabled veteran. The time was due to my limited movement. I'm a female and I just read a section, did the task and moved on to the next ensuring not to skip any step (including measuring my space before hand). As I stated, I'm proud of my door and now that I've done it myself, I see where my contractor messed up at and will be ordering the small pieces to fully finish my front door. Once again, I love it and it fit nicely into my budget for security and safety.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good door, smooth installation with one glitch Installation took a longer than the 45 minutes advertised, but that did not surprise me. The instructions were clear and could be followed step-by-step without reading ahead. One nice touch was a complete set of instructions for both left-handed and right-handed doors, so I did not have to keep translating in my head. The only problem came at the very end of the installation, with the brackets for the closers. The supplied screws were 2" long, and they were virtually impossible to screw in all the way to the wood in my door frame. I had to go buy some shorter screws to complete the installation. I would prefer to have more screws for each bracket, but shorter (say 1 1/4" or 1 1/2"). Overall the door looks great and closes reasonably well. I hope it will not have the problem of rotting at the bottom like the much cheaper Anderson doors that are still sold at Home Depot. (Several reviewers noted the problems with those models. This is the third door on this location; the first two both began to rot within a year.)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poorly designed junk Bought this door for my new home and found while installing it has no striker plate for the latch. The door rattles incessantly in even a small breeze and doesn't seal at all. I called the manufacturer and they said that was how the door was designed and they would not do anything to help. Evidently a storm door has no real purpose and the weather stripping is just for show. I bought a Pella storm door years ago at half the price and got a much better door: one that actually latches tight and seals. The only thing worse than the low quality Anderson door is their "customer service" they had no qualms telling me I was stuck with their junk door. If I could give no stars I would

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I hate the product-DO NOT BUY IT!!!!!!!!! We bought the series 3000 from Home Depot and made a very serious mistake going with the less expensive version w/ the plastic retainers that are used to hold the screen/storms in. The retainers are very hard and complex to put in. They are cheap, too, and break easily. Also, the quality of the screen door is way below Andersen's standards. I complained to the Home Dept person in the Watertown, MA store about this problem and she said that "everyone complains about this door and we no longer recommends it,." Instead of simply keeping what was an easy way to remove the screen or storms doors, the company though that it made the look "sleeker" by having these stupid and cheap retainers put in. The plastic retainers need to snap in ans finding the angle, grid and using the right pressure needed is very hard to do. Also, the whole thing looks cheap. DO NOT BUY.

The only thing that wasn't so easy was opening the door after mounting it in the doorway. There are plastic spacers to keep the door closed in it's frame while doing the initial install, it took quite a bit of pushing from the inside to get it to pop open. Other than a few extra minutes spent scratching our heads and worrying that we would break the glass, it was a breeze.

After installation, there is about an 1/8" gap in the latch resulting in a loose closure and rattling when the wind blows. This is the second door I've installed and didn't have this issue with the first. The top and bottom retainers for the glass panel were also difficult to install, otherwise the installation was relatively easy.

It fits perfectly and I love that it is full glass so it doesn't detract from my robins egg blue front door. I also love that it came with a full screed so if the weather ever warms up enough I can use the screen. I got the white border which also matches the stucco on my home. I'm very pleased.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Plastic strips that hold glass are subpar quality I purchased this door three years ago and the interior plastic strips that hold the glass in broke on both sides. EMCO/Anderson will replace them for free if I could find my receipt. But instead of replacing the plastic strips every few years I decided to go with a better quality door from Lowes. Don't waste your money on this door.

Had a professional at the house for installation only to find out the door is badly damaged. There was no way to know if it was any good at time of purchase since it was boxed. Waste of time and money because the serviceman needs to come back after we get another door.

Very nice door, easy to install, one thing I want to point out, the door has an integrated non adjustable striker zone, which means, that when the door closes, the tongue locks into the frame to secure the door in a closed position, however this is a loose gap, I have had some complaints that the door rattles from wind, and there is no way to adjust the striker zone to tighten up this gap. I have installed foam insulation in the door to assist customers with this problem, and have talked to Andersen about this, but they say this is their design and are satisfied with it. They say if you turn on the bolt lock it wont rattle. hmmm
