Product Details

The ApolloPEX Ice Maker Outlet Box includes a 1/2 in. Brass PEX barb ice maker valve and is simple to install. It provides flow control through an anti-stick and smooth operating quarter-turn handle. Ideal for installations of ice makers, refrigerators and filtered water dispensers. ApolloPEX barb fittings are a key component of the most economical potable water piping systems. Also capable of integration into hydronic heating systems, ApolloPEX valves can be secured into place using copper crimps, stainless steel pinch clamps or stainless steel crimp sleeves (all sold separately). The ApolloPEX system is a comprehensive piping system comprised of brass fittings, poly alloy fittings, manifolds, valves, fasteners, tools and tubing designed for implementation in water delivery systems, simple or complex.
  • Valve constructed of lead free dezincification resistant (DZR) brass for superior reliability and strength
  • Designed for use within PEX piping systems
  • 1/4 in. O.D. male compression outlet
  • Box design allows for left or right stud mounting
  • Snap in place faceplate allows for up to 3/4 in. drywall

Broke in the wall after 9 months
Valve broke and caused 10k in damages in merely a day (overnight). No reason at all, no freezing, bumping, over straining, it wasn’t even being used or hooked up to a line. Just decided to form a hairline crack and start leaking in my brand new house! They need to start putting lead in back in brass. Thanks Flint MI!

    The box says it fits Pex A type fittings, but it slides right in the pipe without expanding. This will only work with Pex B connections.
