    Answer This Question

A:  No, you could use the FSBIPSC34, link below. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Tectite-3-4-in-IPS-x-3-4-in-CTS-Brass-Push-to-Connect-Conversion-Coupling-FSBIPSC34/301492411

A:  Wouldn’t this be the more common way to do it for a hard to get to connection. Since most plumbers seem to think threaded connections are more reliable than shark bite. You said “no” are you saying this connection wouldn’t work?

        something's wrong with the thread
I bought two of the 3/4-3/4 for my new water heater and both leaked. Plenty of ptfe tape used and it didn't stop it. Now I have to drain the tank and my lines and install different adapters. What a waste of water and time.

          Can't Stop the Leaking
The other review about this leaking with the Everbilt Water Heater Expansion Tank is spot on. No amount of torque or teflon tape will stop this from leaking. I think it must be this fitting. Going to buy the sharkbite swivel instead.

When connected with Store SKU #1003064927 Thermal Expansion Tank, as instructed by documentation, there was a minor leak. The treads did not seem to be a good match with the tank.

What I asked for was a hose bib adapter for pex B pip?. The fitting I was given wouldn't screw onto the faucet.
