Product Overview

Apollo PEX tubing is cross-linked polyethylene tubing primarily used in radiant and hydronic heating applications (Indicated by Orange color). An oxygen diffusion barrier designed within the exterior of the pipe limits oxygen permeation through the tubing wall in hydronic heating applications which assists in the prevention of corrosion of ferrous parts within the piping system. The Apollo PEX system is a comprehensive piping system comprised of brass fittings, poly alloy fittings, manifolds, valves, fasteners, tools and tubing designed for implementation in water delivery systems, simple or complex.
  • Superior flexibility reduces the number of fittings required for installation which also reduces leak points within piping systems
  • Oxygen barrier assists in the prevention of ferrous metal system component corrosion
  • Durable and corrosion resistant pipe endures most installation environments
  • Suitable for wet or dry installations and immediate pressure testing
  • Compatible with Apollo PEX system fittings and Tectite by Apollo push-to-connect fittings
  • Listed to NSF 14 and CSA B137.5 for use in potable water distribution piping systems
  • Center-pull coil speeds installation
  • Available in coils (100 ft. - 500 ft.)
  • Type B cross-linked polyethylene
  • California residents

It's ok but hard to manage and bend in place. Plus I had to do some clamps over as there was some leaks. If I haad it to do over in a heating system again, I would use copper tubing.

Re routed an upstairs radiator. Difficult to unroll with one person compared to original pex. Also wall thickness appears slightly less making the fittings want to wiggle out while applying the crimp rings.
