Does this come with a plug or is it to be direct wired?

In "specifications" is the required distance above cooking surface that is listed as 30" to the bottom of the hood or to the bottom of the cabinet above it?

Does this hood have an option to recirculate and filter the air back inside, or does it have to vent outside?

You will need to purchase DHZ3002UC replacement charcoal filter accessory. Why does this product draw 12 amps?

Can this hood be run a 120 volts? My house is old and my current hood runs at 120v. I am looking to replace my hood and had a contractor come to give me a quote. The contractor told me to meet California code I would need to install a 240v dedicated line for the hood. The specification of this hood is 120 volts so I assume that it can run at 120v. Was the contractor misleading me?
