Not 2700K
The size an shape of these bulbs are exactly what I was looking for to go in my kitchen chandelier, but the color temperature listed is totally wrong. I have researched the topic everywhere I am able, and the consensus is that 2700K should be a very warm orange/yellow light just like the old incandescent bulbs I am trying to replace. The bulbs I received have a definite blue cast to them much more like a bulb in the 4000K+ range. Even going by the "Bright White" color descriptor the bulbs should be yellow/white with no blue cast to them. I am doubly disappointed as I had a similar problem purchasing bulbs from the giant South American river, and I came to the Home Depot assuming they would have a more accurate knowledge of the product they were offering. I've included a picture comparing the new and old bulbs side by side. It will likely be obvious, but the new bulb is on the right.
