The Commercial Electric 2-Port Decor Wall plate Insert is used to install Low-Voltage keystone inserts to a desired location. The decora insert's low profile design mounts flush to a decora style wall plate. Commercial Electric snap-in inserts easily snap into the 2 ports of the decora insert.
- Provides a location for keystone connections such as: high-speed internet, home theater, cable and satellite TV, DVR, receiver, surround sound, HDMI, etc.

I remember the days before items like this clever decora wall plate were available and we would try to come up with a way to install access ports for new technology, this item makes it much easier to provide a clean and attractive finished look. No more exposed wires or clusters of exposed hookups. It is made of thick enough plastic that there's no worries about breakage and the color is a good match for available cover plates.

This was used in direct wiring of cable in my home. It did the job perfectly and with little effort. It is the correct size for my needs. I had no difficulty finding a wall plate to cover since it uses a standard 2 gang plate, which is easily available. I was happy I could a decorative plate since it uses a standard size. This insert made a dreaded job easy.

You will probably need to use regular Décor screws for the face plates as the provided ones do not hold in the plastic.
I installed 4 of these and they are all working fine in the junction box.

Beautiful - an elegant way to add cable and cat connections using the modular Commercial Electric inserts. Add a screwless outlet cover and you have a really nice solution. If you have to have outlets, they might as well look nice.

This Commercial Electric adapter plate makes installations easy, clean and professional. I have requests from some of my customers wanting a data (Cat 5) and phone jack combined into one decora outlet. This type of plate allows you to easily install just what is needed. RC

The "2-Gang Rocker Plate in White" is exactly what it is intended to be. It is easy to install, it looks very good, and it is easy to wipe clean. My rating for this was "Good" it is not anything extraordinary but it definitely does what it is supposed to do.As I said it is easy to wipe clean especially if you have it in a high traffic area that gets a lot of use.
