Great little pump. Perfectly portable and works very well. The only thing that I don't like about this pump is hose material. The hose is very stiff and does not want to come out of its coiled shape without kinking. Not a deal breaker but make dealing with this otherwise awesome little pump a bit frustrating. Things I like about it: It is self priming! It's portable (I'll be using this to pump out my canoe when we go camping) It has a standard garden hose threaded end which is great because you can make the hose length as long as you want. It takes 3 D batteries which last a while (I have used this a few times and they're still going). It can pump up over 2 feet (head) which is pretty good for battery operated. Note: this pump is not rated for hot water or very cold water (104 degrees max and 40 degrees minimum)

This pump is a very low quality unit. I would consider this more of a toy rather then a tool. Poor battery case, outlet hose plastic is very ridged. Performance is limited 2.3 GPM with a max head of 2.7 feet. It utilizes 3 d cell batteries. In my unit switch isn’t working (on all the time) assembled broken. hose at pump outlet collapsed , looks like a design material issue . With new batteries water flow is slow but steady and if raised 2 feet above the pump very slow. Getting the cover off to replace batteries is cumbersome. So with a rechargeable battery, a switch that works and a flexible hose this might be an ok pump.

I live in northern New Jersey and this has been the year for storms and basement flooding. When the power goes out and the sump pumps go with it. This is a nice battery powered pump to have around when the lights go out to transfer water. I also use this pump to empty out my hot water heater, my garden pond, and drains fast. The BSUP battery powered utility pump delivers up to 138 GPH. This lightweight, mobile pump is ideal for transferring water from one source to another. This is a great pump to use where the use of a traditional utility pump is inconvenient. Great for emergencies like draining water from stopped up sinks, dish washer, toilets and other appliances. Garden hose inlet connection and includes 42 in. hose with adapter Battery powered, utilizes three D batteries (not included)1/55 HP, 4350 RPM, 3.0 Amp. With good brand name batteries this unit should run for five hours.

Excellent pump for my waterfall and pond system! Would work great for sump duty as well. This pump can be used continuously and works very well without drawing a lot of power. It's oilless so no worry about fish and plants. It can handle up to 1/8" debris. WHAT YOU GET: It comes with two adapters for any style hose connection, or solid pipe screw on connections. Standard discharge size is 1 1/4 MNPT fitting. I have 1 inch ID pond tubing and I used a pipe clamp to hold it onto the 1 inch screw type outlet included. Pond hose style barb outlets will also fit the screw-on type pump housing. INLET: The inlet is a flat bottom sump design, so you will want to place the pump inside a nice mesh pump bag to avoid sucking in fish and large debris. POWER DRAW: Max power draw is 3.3 amps at 115volts and this delivers a HUGE flow of water. I have a waterfall filter that is three feet tall and has a 18 inch wide three inch tall waterfall outlet. This provides superior flow without any drop off in flow rate as the filter fills with debris. It's a nice torrent of water coming from the waterfall and the drop into the second pond. This pump is a real workhorse for big jobs. The pond it's in drops two levels and this pump is at the bottom of the main pond under 3 feet of water and pumps up to the surface, across a ten foot run and up the three foot deep waterfall filter. The long power cord lets me make a single run to the junction box, no splicing in other extension cords. The built in handle makes removing for cleaning easy. Flow rate at height is: 2880gph at 0 feet 2520gph at 5 feet 1920gph at 10 feet 1320gph at 15 feet 780gph at 20 feet Cord length: 10ft Power Draw: 3.3amps Pump Size: 10 inches tall, six inches wide. Overall this is a top notch pump and I count on it to run 24-7 all season. I'd recommend it.

This utility pump works well , all plastic construction 1 1/4 discharge ,1/8 maximum solids, 2880 GPM on level no lift 780gph At 20 foot lift and acoording to the chart on the back of the box 0 @25 feet ,the front says 25 max vertical lift! Dropping this into my pool 8 feet it did pump a good flow not the same as deck side no lift. This unit has a installed grounded plug and a discharge fitting with an adapter. For Auto switching you will need a float switch . All in all a nice pump constructed of light weight plastic ready for you to put into your application, product has a one year warranty, made in China. Additionally it is part of a recycle program at obsolescence you are to send it back to the manufacture for disposal at your cost. I’ll put in my recycle bin for free.

I received the 1/3 horse power Submersible Utility Pump for review. This pump was shipped to my home in a well packaged box in undamaged condition. This pump is well made and very easy to use. I used this pump to remove water from my basement after a heavy storm. This pump got rid of the water quickly and with no problems at all. I like that this pump is oil free and is only 5.7 lbs. Comes with discharge adapter.

This is an excellent utility pump good for many tasks. It is a good idea to have one of these in your home for any water leakage emergency, flooded area, and standing water in low-lying areas. I recommend to always have it ready and assembled with the correct adapter(s), water hose, and a GFCI Outlet Adapter (if there is none available ground-fault circuit interrupter GFCI.) Use a Teflon/sealant tape to get a tight-fitting. Since the pump is oil-free, it can be used for your plants and fish in your water garden. I will use this pump for emergency purposes and to water my outdoor plants with water from rain harvesting tanks. This pump supplies the proper water pressure to water my garden. I used it once to drain a tub filled with water. It performed as expected. The cord length is excellent (10 feet long), and is an 18 AWG rated. It looks well made and is easy to transport. Connecting the different threaded adaptors and the water hose was easy.

IMPRESSIVE - Excellent Submersible Utility Pump. Very well made and very sturdy. Has a 10 foot 3 prong power cord. Adapters and directions included. I used the garden hose connector to hook up a washing machine hose in order to flush/descale my tankless water heater. The pump performed flawlessly. I used 3 gallons of distilled vinegar in a 5 gallon bucket for about 45 minutes. Super easy to hook up and use. There is no power switch. It starts pumping to moment you plug it in. The 10 foot power cord comes in very handy. I highly recommend this pump.

the pump arrived with a wiring issue and did not operate. I purchased a replacement at a competitor and this size of pump has almost no lift, so is not recommended in most situations.
