A: Justin-The pump comes preset for shallow well application. For Deep Well, you remove the venturi tube and replace it with the other longer one that comes in box. HOWEVER, the ejector does not go back on the pump. It goes down in the well, and will not fit back onto the pump. A: Hey Justin, good Morning, what I had to do for my application was to use an 1 1/4" Male adapter on the top, and then a 1" threaded nipple (which I cut the threads off on one end) on the bottom with a coupling. This brought the fittings away from one another far enough to use them. You have to put Unions in the lines also but in order to do that you have to put elbows (90s) on and turn the lines horizontally to make room for them. Good luck, I can send pictures if you'd like.
A: Lisa - This pump cannot be used to intake city water pressure. There are "Booster Pumps" available that might be the direction you might want to go if you're just trying to increase pressure in your home. -GP Support
A: Deppizzymo-unfortunately, you need the ejector if you're running it as a shallow well pump. You still need it even if running as a deep well as it goes down in the well. If purchased from Home Depot, you might be able to exchange it for one with the ejector. -GP Support
