I use this instead of the one that came with...
I use this instead of the one that came with my shower caddy end this worked perfectly so that the tension was not as intense ST original spring that came with it and I like the fact that this one has a few springs in there different sizes so that you can kind of play around with it and find your tension

Great for fiberglass hood springs
I used these for my car’s fiberglass hood to lift it up off the hood pins so it doesn’t get stuck in the closed position. Works well.
