Q:How do I get an old S hook open and this new one closed when using it to replace one rusted on a swing set?

Answer This Question

A:  This product is not recommended for a swing set. We recommend using a fully enclosed clip to connect the chains to the swing hangers.

    Answer This Question

A:  The Home Depot web site product overview doesn't give this info. I searched other web sites but this info may not match this S-hooks info. The one I found had a work load limit of 250 lbs. The product weight of the one I found was .137 lbs. This one is 0.09 lbs. so I would say it's less than the 250 lbs. I can't find a manufacture on the Home Depot web site to refer to for this info.
