Q:can i put wheels on this table

    Answer This Question

A:  Hi Mike, if you search for stem casters with a stem that is .31 inches diameter, you will be able to replace the levelers Please consider the load when choosing the caster. This workbench supports 500 lbs and most casters with this stem size will not support the weight. For best stability as a workbench, we recommend using the included levelers.

You say workbench, I say desk!
This adjustable height workbench is just what I was looking for in a desk. At its shortest height, it's perfect as a traditional sitting desk; at its tallest, it's perfect as a standing desk. The motor is relatively quiet and takes about 20 seconds to go from low to high. The surface size is adequate, but on the small side if you have more than a laptop and an external monitor. Assembly was pretty easy, especially since the screws and tools were packaged so well. It did take two people to flip the table upright once assembled--it's quite heavy! There are a lot of power cords that needed to be tacked up so they were out of sight, but straps for doing that were provided. I am worried that the leveling feet will damage my hardwood floors, so I purchased some felt pads for them and have my fingers crossed that they will be effective.

Works great; docked 1 star because the wrench included in the box was too small.
This adjustable workbench works great. It is a single motor bench, but it can supposedly lift 500 pounds (not sure if that includes the bench top or not). It could lift my 200lb self just fine, so I'd say it passed my test. Assembly was fairly simple. I had 2 issues with assembly. First, one of the screw holes for the transmission bar cover was a bit small; I had to use an impact driver to really force the issue and get it in. It's like the paint piled up in it or something. Wasn't a huge deal. The other main issue I had was that the bar between the two legs is bolted in with 13mm bolts, but the wrench included was only 12mm. Thankfully I had a wrench that would work. That step was also a little challenging to mount the bolts through a little cutout. Overall, the desk itself looks great and works great. I kindof wish the power cord could come through one of the legs or something, but otherwise, it has a pretty good design and works well. You can find other sit/stand desks/workbenches out there for cheaper probably, but they also probably won't have a 500lb capacity.

          high quality work bench
The adjustable work table is assembled upside down. Very efficient to use the box it comes in cut open to do the assembly and protect the wooden work table surface. The hardware comes well packaged and identified for assembly. I used the cardboard packing that came with the work table to hold up the crossbar while I installed it. The instructions say to rotate the column after installation but they don't tell you how to do it. The answer is to find an 8 mm wrench and turn the axle rod until both legs are the same height. The motor works smoothly and quietly. Overall, a high quality work bench.

          Amazing workbench
The Fleximounts Motorized Adjustable Height 48 in. Workbench (item No. WB101) exceeded all my expectations. Let’s start with the arrival, get help! This box is big and it’s heavy, I used my dolly to move it in the house. And the packing is superb. No dents, no dings, perfect in every aspect. After unpacking everything I found that they even include all the tools you need to put it together. (3 different sized hex key and a 13mm wrench). All the screws and bolts are in individually marked packs, so you don’t get them mixed up. I put this together in about an hour not rushing anything, you may want some help with the heavy, solid 48 in. top, it’s solid. I placed it upside down on a piece of the protective cardboard it was packed with. Everything was put together with the tabletop down, except or step 5, you may want to lay it on its side for that step. The adjustable height motor is strong and quiet, moves the top up and down very smoothly. I don’t think I’ll every have anything place on top of it that even comes close to the 506 lbs. capacity. The minimum height I measured was 29½ inches, and after raising it up it measured 43 inches even. You can probably at least another inch of so of height it you really need it. The bottom has so adjustable disks for protecting a floor surface and for leveling if you need it. I suppose you could raise all four of them and get more height, but 43 in. is good enough for me. The picture I attached include what each step looks like during assembly, and like I said, pretty straight forward.

Exactly what I was looking for
Table top is solid, base is sturdy. I needed something stable and shallow like this for a work bench in a small area of my home. I intend to mount a vise to it. It's perfect.

          Lathe table
I have my small lathe on one of these tables. It is perfect. I am on the shorter side of tall and for the first time, am able to get my lathe at a height that actually works in my favor. Highly recommended.
