5 of 12 bulbs burned out in 18 months

I bought a Feit 12 bulb string, and then put these Feit bulbs into it to go above my work bench in the garage. I only turn the lights on when I am working in the garage. Maybe 10 times a week for a short time period. 18 months later, 5 out of 12 bulbs have burned out! Two this last week. Unfortunately, I still have a bunch more that I haven't installed yet. Maybe I'll just use them for target practice .... probably the best use of them in my opinion.

The soft white is the perfect replacement for soft white incandescents. Color range looks the same and max brightness of the 60W equivalent looks more like a 100w bulb When dimmed I can match the look of nearby 60W incandescents perfectly. Dimming is fluid and there is no pulsing.

The illumination is very good but there is a plastic band between the screw and the lightbulb causing a black band so no lights comes out of the bottom - only the top.
