Q:Is this model considered an edge to edge cooktop? The grates appear recessed like a regular gas stove. The edge to edge I?ve seen are not recessed.
I am concerned about purchasing an edge to edge because I feel it might damage my laminate countertops.

Great mechanical design with OK control panel
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the mechanical design of the range. The way the grates set into the stovetop looks sharp. The burners and oven work well. We like the two speed electric broiler. We use it to finish our pizzas. The oven light is nice and bright. The CONTROL PANEL should be redesigned. The LED’s that light when the oven or broiler are on are tiny and recessed. Hard to see from just about any angle. The digital display that shows the current time or time remaining is too dim to read from across the room. There should be a way to adjust the brightness.

Great but 1 defect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this new this week and all is working well. I like the stove EXCEPT the oven light is not working. I changed the bulb and I made sure that it is well seated (which is what it says in the manual). I can find only the rover switch on top of the stove and assume that's the one to turn it on and off. Am I missing something? I will add to the review , increase or decrease the rating depending on the response. I want the oven light working. It is obviously important and we bake a lot.

Great So Far
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with the added space and versatility of our new gas range. The center burner will be great for the griddle. Only surprise so far is the broiler is electric, even though the stove top and oven are gas.

Size matters
Overall depth of this unit is roughly 28 inches. Frigidaire's own website says 25 inches. WRONG! So if you have a drawer next to your range that opens in front of the oven door, be sure you have about 30 inches as the gas connection will take away about 2 inches of available space. Nice unit but unfortunately too deep for my tiny kitchen.

Perfect for my needs!

The locked in edges helps in moving heavy pots around the stove without fear of the grate moving or coming out of place and the slick design has been an immediate update to the area it sits in. Very happy with the purchase.
