About This Product

The Frigidaire Professional 30" Front Control Induction Range features our most powerful and advanced convection system, Total Convection, which enables cooking modes like No Preheat, Air Fry, Slow Cook, Steam Bake, Steam Roast, Convection Bake and more! Enjoy the cleanability and amazingly fast speed of cooking with induction. Also includes a convenient Temperature Probe, Air Fry Tray, Backlit LED knobs, Glide Rack and features our fingerprint resistant, Smudge-Proof Stainless Steel finish.

Highlights

  • Total Convection gives you maximum versatility in the kitchen, powering cooking modes like Air Fry, No Preheat, Slow Cook, Convection Bake, Steam Bake, Convection Roast, Steam Roast and more!
  • Unlike traditional electric and gas cooktops, Induction only heats the pan and the food in it, so the area around the pan stays cooler, allowing you to clean up spills and splatters while you cook.
  • Eliminates time wasted waiting on your oven to heat up - simply place your food in the cold oven and get to meal time, in no time.
  • Air Fry allows you to make healthier and delicious meals for the entire family, right in your oven.
  • For perfectly crispy and delicious Air Fry results.
  • With Slow Cook, your food cooks slowly and at a lower temperature (as low as 100° F), allowing you to lock in moisture and flavor without over or undercooking your food.
  • With induction, heat transfers directly to the cookware bypassing the cooktop surface, making induction incredibly fast.
  • The Temperature Probe monitors and alerts when the desired finished cooking temperature has been reached.
  • With Steam Bake, steam evenly circulates throughout the oven cavity, resulting in breads and muffins that rise higher and are light and fluffy.
  • Sensors in the cooktop automatically adjust the power level to maintain a consistent temperature the entire time you cook - it's like cruise control for your cooktop
  • Connects two elements to allow for simultaneous control, perfect for a griddle pan.
  • Select Steam Clean for a quick, 30 minute clean or choose Self Clean, which is available in 2, 3 and 4 hour cycles.
  • Backlit LED Knobs
  • Our extending Glide Rack makes it easier to monitor and lift your food out of the oven.
  • Induction only heats the pan and the food in it, so the area around the pan stays cooler.
  • Our redesigned Store-More Storage drawer is now even wider - allowing you to store any unused oven racks or baking trays.
  • Resists fingerprints and cleans easily.
  • We promise that your new 30" Frigidaire front control range will fit your existing range cutout of the same width and configuration, or we will reimburse you up to one hundred dollars for professionally modifying the countertop.

Could I use a downdraft system instead of a hood with this range?
      ByMar 12, 2026
      1 Answer |
      Answer This Question

Thank you for reaching out. No — the Frigidaire PCFI3080AF Professional 30" Induction Range does not support a built-in downdraft system, and the manufacturer recommends using a separate range hood for ventilation. ~Ruth

How do I mute the beeps on the cooktop? This thing is constantly beeping at me whenever I put a pan on the cooktop, even if the cooktop isn't turned on at the time.

        Answer This Question

Hi Dennis, thank you for reaching out. The beeps on the Frigidaire PCFI3080AF cooktop when you place a pan down are normal and cannot be muted. They are part of the induction cooktop’s cookware detection system. - Reed

What am I doing wrong? The stove top will turn off often during cooking or even boiling water. I have to keep restarting top while cooking.
          ByJan 3, 2026
          1 Answer |
          Answer This Question

Hi there, valued consumer! Based on the Frigidaire induction range manual and how induction cooktops are supposed to work, and what might be going wrong with yours: Induction zones won’t generate heat unless the cookware meets specific conditions: - The cookware must be magnetic (steel or cast iron). - It must be flat‑bottomed and large enough for the zone you’re using. - It must be centered on the cooking zone. If the zone can’t sense proper cookware, the display may flash and then automatically turn off the zone (often after about 30 seconds to a few minutes). If the boil stops and you have to restart the burner, it may be because the cooktop no longer detects the pan often due to: - Pan not centered properly - Pan too small for that zone - Pan not truly induction‑compatible (magnet sticks only weakly or unevenly) - The pan bottom is warped or uneven, so sensing fails This is actually a normal safety behavior in induction mode to prevent heating when it thinks there’s no valid cookware. Tips to reduce these shutdowns - Use high‑quality, flat‑bottomed induction cookware (thick steel or cast iron). - Make sure pots are centered and fully cover the cook zone ring. - Clean and dry the stovetop and control area before cooking, even minor steam or splashes can be interpreted as input. - Avoid pans that are significantly smaller than the zone minimum size. - Maico

Why do the specs list the oven capacity as 4.4 cubic ft, when the internal dimensions calculate to 3.8/3.9 cubic ft? I've used multiple calculators and they have all calculated somewhere between 3.8-3.911.
              ByOct 15, 2025
              1 Answer |
              Answer This Question

Hi SCcar! We appreciate your question regarding the oven capacity listed for model PCFI3670AF. The 4.4 cu. ft. capacity shown in our specifications refers to the total internal cavity volume of the oven. This measurement is taken from wall to wall, floor to ceiling, and front to back of the cavity before accounting for elements such as insulation, racks, air channels, and other internal components. When you calculate the interior space based on the visible, usable area inside the oven, the result will naturally be smaller—typically around 3.8 to 3.9 cu. ft.—because that space excludes the areas required for air circulation and heating components. This method of listing the gross cavity capacity is standard across the appliance industry and ensures consistency when comparing oven sizes between different brands and models. - Reed

Why would Frigidaire sell a "Pro" model range which does not include a timer to control oven cook time.

You have no Idea what you're missing out on!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This range is the cat's meow! We have used it everyday since receiving it on 06/11/2026, 2 to 3 times a day, and we have yet to see any of the issues in other review's suggesting the Achilles heel of this product., Are we just lucky I think not, I like to think we took our time read the manual, watch reviews and learned to nuances associated with this range. Is it perfect, no but is any product today? Is it amazing, yes in more ways than one. Can you boil a quart of water in under 2.5 minutes?, we can. This range out performs any gas or electric on so many different levels it still makes me giggle everyday. What you need to know. You need to be patient and learn, as this is not like any range you have ever used before but believe me when I tell that your patience learning the nuance's of this range will be reward 3 fold. Is this range for everyone, no, it will take some effort from you, and if you're not willing to learn buy something else. But if your ready to move to the next level in your culinary experiences this range is for you. Are there things we don't like? Sure. the controls for the settings of the burners require you to be precise, it takes some getting use to how the control mechanisms work. Let me explain, at first you need to learn the best position to place you finger in the correct spot to get the response your looking for. You need to take the time to learn the different power levels of the burners as it will respond faster the any range ( gas or electric) that you ever used before, again if your not willing to learn than don't by this range because you'll hate it, but trust me when I say this range will meet and exceed your expectations! Let me explain, one of the biggest gripes is the controls, this is not a turn the knob device, the controls for the burners, they are touch sensitive and need to be touched/activated within a narrow margin, again it will take some effort on you to learn where this responds best for you. Next is the power level of each burner, my suggestion to you is to touch each level of control with a pot of water and a thermometer. Set the power level and measure the heat output for each level, this will help you gage which power level to use and what temperature it affords you, measure the water when you reduce the power level and note how fast the burner responds. Now for the second biggest gripe, we have never had the burners or cooktop shut down due to normal grease splatter or boiling while using this range, NEVER! And I am here to tell you that my wife is Chinese and everyday we steam, boil water, cook in a Wok with dubious amounts of oil, cook bacon and even flambé and not once has it ever locked us out. Now can that happen? Yes but it is because you don't take the time to understand the relation on the pan to the burners. 3rd gripe, not all induction ready pans are created equal. While our land that we used previously worked with this range they were not suited to the capabilities of this range. You will need to observer the heat pattern, again boil water and see how the bubbles form on the bottom of the pan. If they don't match the size of the burner it is the pan not the induction burner itself. Then we upgraded to new pans it was a 2 fold reaction. We absolutely love this range on so many different levels, and I haven't even touch on its baking capabilities, you just need to trust me when I say you won't be disappointed. We wish you all the best if you decide to make this purchase because, if what I provided about our experience makes sense, you'll love it as much as we do. Long story short, we love this range and our decision

All Features Work Better Than Expected - Easy to Keep Clean - Steam Bake is Fantastic!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Two key features that were high on my want list, steam baking, and the induction cook top. The induction works amazing. I've cooked on gas, old stye electric and open fire. The heat control with induction is better than any other system I have used. The heat is even across the pan bottom. Boiling water is the fastest ever. The oven is the best. Cooking with the No Pre-Heat works great. Steam bake works perfect for baking bread and making my famous sticky gooey cinnamon rolls. I am really enjoying this unit.

                        Beware of Shattered Glass!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hesitated to provide feedback, as the company is already sending us a replacement unit. But, since I was unaware of this possible issue, I wanted to make future owners aware. We used our oven for two days on the 'Bake' setting. On day two I opened the oven to take out our food and after a loud 'pop' the glass on the inside of the door completely shattered. No injuries, but our food was ruined and I'm now sort of shellshocked to use the replacement unit. Wanted to make others aware that this is a known issue for this appliance.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience—and we’re very sorry this happened. We’re relieved to hear that no one was injured, but we completely understand how alarming it must have been to hear a loud pop and see the inner oven door glass shatter. That would be unsettling for anyone, especially after only a couple of days of use. While tempered glass is designed for safety and can occasionally shatter due to stress factors or rare manufacturing defects, this is not something customers should expect during normal operation. We’re glad a replacement unit is already being provided, and we appreciate you giving us the opportunity to make it right. If you have any concerns about using the replacement oven, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly via Live Chat at www.frigidaire.com or call us at 1-877-435-3287, Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–8 p.m. EST, and we’ll be happy to assist. Not up to code
Had the stove delivered 6 weeks ago, plugged it in and the GFI breaker that is required since it is code that if the stove is less then 6 ft away from the sink GFI breaker is a requirement. Had warranty worker trying to analyze what’s wrong, replaced all kinds oof parts today, nothing. The tech from the factory just said use a non GFI breaker. In other words, ignore the code requirements. They won’t send an other stove that might be tested before the send it. Will they buy me a new house if it burns or cover the medical bills if someone gets hurt? Big corporations don’t have to follow rules? I hope it’s only my stove that’s giving me grief. Otherwise Homedepot is selling a non compliant product.
