Hi katherine - Thanks for reaching out to us and for choosing GE Appliances for your home! We truly appreciate your interest in this Smart built-in double wall oven to replace your current model and are happy to help you with this. This wall oven has an overall width of 26.75", height of 51.125", and depth of 26.625". It requires the cutout dimensions of 25-1/4 x 50-1/8 x 23-1/2 (w x h x d) (in.). - In order to compare these cutout dimensions and fit with your current installation, this will require the specific dimensions of your current model. While we did have a few JKP27 series wall oven models, we do not have a model with this exact model number. Our model numbers will always begin and end with a letter. Please check the rating plate found inside the door on the front face of your oven and reach out to us via our Contact Us page online with the full model and serial number. We will be more than happy to look into this further for you! -Eliza@GEA
Hello Mike, thank you for bringing your concern to our attention. We're more than happy to help. Electric Ovens with Hidden Bake Elements can take up to 15-20 minutes to preheat depending on different factors. This is a normal operation and the preheat time cannot be altered. We hope this is useful information! If you have any other questions, you can reach out to us via e-mail through the Contact Us page on our website and a member of our team will be glad to help. - Guy@GEA
Hey Lennie! Good question! Based on our research, this model can only be installed into a cabinet cutout space. More information about that cutout space can be found in the Specifications file on this unit's product page. If you're referencing another type of appliance, like a microwave, please feel free to send us an email or reach out to us on social media with the model that you're looking at and we'll do our best to help. All the best! -Michael@GEA
Hi Jocey! Good question! We'll take a look into this for you. Electric wall ovens come equipped with a 40” or 54” long conduit (armored flex cable) to "hard wire" the appliance. Using the Installation Instructions on Home Depot's website, which you can view here: https://images.homedepot-static.com/catalog/pdfImages/79/7959f686-de2b-4562-8764-c6e7cc5d01de.pdf - information about making electrical connections can be found on pages 6 and 7. We're seeing that the conduit is located near the upper right hand side of the unit. We hope that this is helpful for you! If you have any other questions, feel free to send us an email or reach out to us on social media. All the best. -Michael@GEA
Hi there Tinkeybell67, Thank you so much for reaching out. We'll happily answer your question. On average, preheat time can take between 10-20 minutes. If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to us via social media or through our Contact Us page. We hope this helps. Best wishes. Mike@GEA
Hi Nita, thanks for reaching out! To get a specific manufacture date for your wall oven, we'd need the serial number that is on the same white sticker as your model number. However, we can provide a more general time frame for you in the meantime. This model started being manufactured in April, 2019 and is still currently being manufactured. We hope that this helps and that you're staying safe! -Michael
Hi MYRA. Thank you for reaching out to us about a cooktop and double oven! These are great questions that we're happy to assist with. We do not have any appliances currently priced as a package. However, we have found you a 36" electric cooktop with stainless steel trim and a 27" stainless steel double oven to check out. The cooktop model is JP3036SLSS and the double oven, which has built-in WiFi, is model JKD3000SNSS. You will need to work with a local dealer for more information on delivery and installation. We hope this is useful! If you have any other questions, you can reach out to us via e-mail through the Contact Us page on our website and a member of our team will be glad to help. - Guy@GEA
Look at the product dimensions for that model and compare. They "were the same" as my old oven, but I still had to cut an additional 1/4 inch to get a good fit with the height. I think that was more my old oven being smaller than reported though. Still a PITA to discover while trying to lift it into place. Measure before you try and send it home. Lol.
Hi Ginny. Thanks for reaching out to us. This is a great question and we're happy to supply you with the directions. Use an oven mitt and caution when connecting the probe to the probe outlet in a preheated oven because the oven walls and probe outlet are hot. Make sure the probe is fully seated when it is plugged in; the Probe icon will light up on the display. When first inserted into the food, the probe may say "Lo." This is because the probe will not register temperature below a certain level. During the cook cycle, you can toggle between the probe temperature (internal temperature of the food) and the oven set temperature by pressing Bake (oven temperature) or Probe (food temperature). You can also press Clock to view the clock. When probe temperature is reached it will shut down and the display will show zeroes. We hope this helps! If you have any other questions, you can reach out to us via e-mail through the Contact Us page on our website and a member of our team will be glad to help. - Guy@GEA
Hello Tom, thank you for your question! Many ranges and wall ovens offer a Steam Clean option (also called Light Self Clean) for easily cleaning the oven. Racks can be left in the oven when using the Steam Clean feature. The steam will loosen soil on the racks as well as the oven interior, which then can be wiped off with a soapy dishcloth. This feature is quicker, cooler and faster than the Self-Clean feature. If you would like to read more about this feature in this wall oven, we recommend you check out page 13 of the owner's manual, linked here: https://images.homedepot-static.com/catalog/pdfImages/f1/f197fa50-3593-491c-96a0-b4f41792394c.pdf We hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any additional questions. – CV
