Q:Just curious. What is the Automatic Oven light for? Sometimes it's on, other times it's off. This happens even when the oven itself is off and no delay cooking has been entered.

A: Hello - we double checked the owner's manual, and we can confirm that the Automatic Oven light will come on only when a cook time or delay time is programmed. It is designed to remain on until the cook time is completed and/or the delay time has started, and, when you're not using the cook time or delay time feature, the oven light should not come on automatically. -- If you believe your situation to be abnormal, we recommend scheduling a service appointment by calling us at: 1-800-432-2737, or online on our GE Appliances website. -- We hope this answer was helpful, and please reach out to us once more if we can assist you further.
