      A:  Hi Aracely. Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us. This is an excellent question that we'll be glad to answer for you. On all gas models, the fan does not start until preheat is reached. On the gas range, the convection fan will cycle off every time the unit calls for heat. It is normal for the fan to cycle on and off frequently during the convection cooking cycle. Algorithms decide when elements and fans should run to create the optimal heat distribution within the oven cavity. If your fan isn't running as it should, we first suggest disconnecting power to the unit for 2-3 minutes to reset the controls. If the problem persists, we recommend scheduling service with a certified GE Appliances technician that will be able to accurately diagnose and repair your appliance. You can do so by calling GE Appliance Service at 1-800-GECares (1-800-432-2737). We hope this is useful and we're wishing you the best. - Guy@GEA

        Stylish and practical Range
        We got the stylish black stainless finish we were looking for as we prepare for our kitchen renovations! GE is a reliable product, and parts and service are easier to find than competitors! We bought GE for all our appliance replacements!

          Very disappointed
          I bought this oven based on high reviews from Consumer Reports, who said it was the best gas oven for bakers. Over the first year the oven temperature swings became worse and worse. Convection setting doesn't change anything from regular bake except to lower the oven temp 25 degrees. After a year the oven variation got worse. Out of warrantee the mother board appears to have gone bad. Not happy at all!!

            Self Cleaning Oven ~ NOT!!!
            This range is for the most part is okay but it’s the oven cleaning feature is absolutely the worst. It doesn’t clean and then you are down on two bad knees trying to wipe it out. So ridiculous. If I knew a replacement would be any better, I’d ask for one. The window in the door is even worst and no visibility to see inside.

              Such an upgrade!
              It heats so well and evenly. Stovetop is great and truly has low and high settings; our last stovetop did not have much adjustment between settings. The use of space is fantastic! This 30” space used to only have 4 places to cook and now we have 4 plus the griddle section, which is also very nice. No more need to get out the countertop griddle, it heats and cooks evenly. We’ve tried other stovetop griddles and they were terrible and led to wasted food. This one worked so nicely. First thing we tried is eggs and pancakes and they turned out perfect! I haven’t tried the steam clean feature in the oven yet, but I look forward to it. The oven bakes beautifully too. My only minor frustration is how easily finger prints show up, I previously had a black stove and although I love the light color having to constantly wipe it down is a bit high maintenance. I’m sure I’ll adjust to it soon though because the positives outweigh very much the negative.

                  Everything I was looking for in a range!
                  I am very happy with the range over all, we did have one issue with the control pad bubbled up. They are suppose to be here on May 4th to replace it. I will say I was disappointed that we had to get a service ticket the same day it was delivered.

                    I love this range
                    The different size burners are awesome. The griddle in the middle is schizzle (great). The oven has convection roast and bake which I’m dying to use. It’s also easy to clean and looks spectacular.

                          Love the middle griddle
                          Nice looking new stove. Went with slide in this time. Went from double oven back to single oven. Love the griddle in the middle and fast boil burner. Also the simmer burner. Old stove boiled when using low heat. Could never simmer properly before.
