Q:Your product description states that this is a single phase fusible disconnect. How ever the GE nomenclature states that model GE TG4324 is a three phase disconnect. The T stands for fusible the G stands for General duty the 4 stands for how many wire the 3 for phases and the last 4 is 200amp. so is it singl phase or three phase?

I bought this to replace an old one of same type I was having a problem with. Previous one appeared to be blowing fuse due to excessive heat at top of fuse holder caused by high switch resistance. After replacement, worked OK for about a year, but after turning on and off a few times the middle fuse started blowing. Traced it to excessive heat due to high switch resistance (probably due to arcing and wear on switch contact material and lack of spring tension). Heat was obvious with IR camera. At 44 amps middle switch shows 290 degrees F!! It appears this switch cannot handle high continuous loads. Would probably work much better with a forked switch contact than a single sided blade. Do not buy for high load use!!!

It's a disconnect. It works, it's lockable, and you can swap pole parts when needed. We've put in hundreds and have yet to have one fail.
