Answer This Question
A: Grounding Lugs are not one size fits all. You need to check your load center for the specifications / model numbers that will fit your load center.

A: This lug is not designed for current carrying conductors unless you consider the neutral or grounded conductor essentially shall be equal to or greater than the smallest line conductor (able to carry the equal current). Due to its design the surface area does not allow for calculations in that regard. It is an "add-on" to existing grnd/neutral bars.
Being a licensed electrician and having been in the trade for several decades I have to say that this is one part the general public should not have access to due to fire hazards and changing of UL listings as soon as something like this is added to a panel.
Please have a licensed electrician install this lug if you have any questions. Fires get started quickly when the return path is interrupted.
Normally speaking if there is not a place for a larger conductor in the panel it really should not be there. Load balancing or the lack thereof is also a good heat generator.

Do NOT buy TGL20CP! These do NOT fit the GE/ABB ground bars and load centers that HD sells!
These do not fit either the PowerMark Gold TLM4020C80G2 load center or TGK24CP GE add-on ground bar (or any other) that HD sells. All of the 0.25" holes on the ground bar are on 0.375” centers. In the case of the ground lug, the distance across the outside of the prongs is 0.672” and that is greater than the distance between the outside edges of the holes ( 0.625” ). I contacted ABB (who has taken over business from GE) and they said TLK20CP is the part that should be used. See photos.

The problem with it is it does not fit any other panels and you don't carry ones that fit other electrical panels. So be careful when purchasing this item.

This lug does not fit the GE grounding bar it was supposed to, the legs are too wide. It does however fit a Siemens panel if that helps.
