A: They sell a different kit for that but its not UL listed, its not recommended to leave a wire with that kit in wall even though its made for that, just because if you don't do it right and you forgot the location of your splice then it will cost a lot of drywall and paint to fix wall back up. Better to just set a box with cover plate closer to floor so its less visible or re-pull a wire. Ill send you link of that other kit just practice on one and make sure you do it right. Strip wire like it tells you to and i use channel locks to snap it in ( its not snapped in if you use it with hands) you have to use channel locks and listen for snap sound
