Geeni is good
I am impressed with the geeni products so far. I have a mix of different Wi-Fi bulbs from different manufacturers and I’ve had issues with ALL of them except the geeni bulbs so far. They I have a few of their plugs and an outdoor switch and they have all worked flawlessly for the past few years. Happy with the price and happy with the product line thanks!!

Very easy set up, I didn't have any trouble syncing to my phone and also pairing with my Alexa. It's very responsive to commands, I didn't notice any lag really. The colors are very bright which is nice, but I mainly use it for white light. I love that it is dimmable as not all smart bulbs are and honestly that's where I get the most use out of them. I have them in my living room on a floor lamp and it's nice being able to dim them while I watch tv.

These were very similar to another smart bulb I recently reviewed that also didn't require a hub. They were easy to set up, which took about 20 minutes total. You have to download the specific app, register for the app, add the lights so that they are recognized and then go to your Alexa app (for Echo users) to enable the skill...which links to the app you downloaded and registered for. You can also group multiple lights in the Alexa app to be controlled with one command. No hub is required.
The advantage these had over the other brand was that you can change the color temperature in the app or by Alexa voice. The only problem that both brands share is that the light is not very bright when switching to color. They're good as accent lighting, but not bright enough to illuminate an entire room when used as color bulb. They look like any other bulb when used as white. The work really well and look nice though, so I give them two thumbs up.

Good quality smart bulb

Obviously I can't comment on the longevity, but I have never had a Globe product that died prematurely. This bulb is a fantastic choice to upgrade your smart home.

So easy to hook up

Works mostly well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a pack of these smart light bulbs and was really excited to use them in my room. I really like the idea of being able to control them from my phone and change the colors or the brightness. Once you get them working their great but getting them working is a chore. I tried several different lamps and could only get them to work on two. I don't think it was the bulb but more the lamp but I wasn't able to figure out what. Once the bulbs are installed and linked up with the app, they work fine. They only desync from the app when the lamp is unplugged or it loses power. The colors are great and I love being about to lower the brightness, makes reading easier. Over all, they are great bulbs, just make sure they work with the lamps you got. 100% recommend.

Works great for the most part.
We bought these for our house, and while I was a little hesitant, due to the price, we went ahead and got them. They only work on 2.5 Ghz, not 5.0, which was fine for us. Two of the lightbulbs we bought refused to connect, but all the rest of them connected perfectly. We absolutely love the color changing options and the different white light options. We previously had color changing bulbs with remotes, but the remote batteries died and you were stuck with whatever shade of white that the particular bulb gave you, which made getting the house to look uniform quite difficult. I highly recommend these bulbs, and would have marked it 5 stars if it hadn't been for the two that refused to connect.
