This poly pipe system is great for installing underground propane piping. No need to join many lengths like with iron pipe. No need to dig straight trenches, we could curve it around obstacles. The riser elbows made the into and out of the ground ends easy.

You really need to fuss with this thing to get it to hold pressure. I installed 2 lines, one had a large leak that i eventually fixed with reseating the couplings, one had a very slow leak that i never got fixed. I verified that all other pipe fittings had no leak so it must have been these. I was hoping for an easy no brainer fitting, I don't think this one is it.

I am surprised to hear that you had to "fuss with" the fitting to get a leak free installation. I am very interested in hearing more about your installation. Were our instructions easy for you to follow step by step? Did you fully tighten the fitting by hand and snug it with your pliers? Did you use the supplied insert? Home Depot is to blame for the NON SHIPPED 1-1/2 IPS 100' PIPE. I for 1 cannot stand Home Depot 90% of the time & I have once again HAD MAJOR ISSUES by Home Depot.

Hi, retamanokc2 - While we appreciate the 5-star review, it may not be Home Depot's fault that your 1-1/2" pipe was not shipped. All resin manufacturers have put their customers (like HOME-FLEX) on allocation and we have not been manufacturing any pipe above 1" for the last few months. All 1.25" and above sizes are not available to order on homedepot.com and stores don't carry 1.5" in stock (meaning it's an all on-line transaction). We apologize we're in this situation and look forward to again be back in production with 1.25"+ pipe as soon as feasible.

Easy to use
I read some of the comments about leaks and was hesitant on trying them. I read the instructions and watched the video. Very easy to use and I had no issues with leaks.
