Questions & Answers

The product description says it has pneumatic tires but the picture shows hard plastic tires. Which is it?

Asked by: Wingsparr
My tires only lasted a couple years, they punctured and totally degraded, not worth $100

Does this hose reel hold 200 feet of hose and is it all metal??

Asked by: bigjwp
Bigiwp: Everything but the tires and the crank handle. Manufacturer says it's good for 250 feet of hose. I hope that helps, Hank

Even with inflatable tires it is difficult to move and maneuver. Wheel and axle nuts are rusting, used a multi- purpose grease to control it. The units inlet water supply line leaks in spite of a new washer and securing the units inlet nut. It is very difficult to reel in my 100 feet of hose. As you reel in the hose one side of the unit lifts up into the air. The design of the reeling mechanism is poor, if you release pressure to the crank the hose unravels. The crank should have a locking mechanism to prevent this. Overall it is poorly designed. I could not recommend it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from One wheel in the air; Poor Paint Job; etc. After I opened the box, the first thing I found was that the tires were not the never-flat tires, unlike the picture suggested. I thought I specifically ordered a model with those tires. OK. I decided I could live with that, so continued with assembling the cart. The next thing I noticed was the paint job was not good. The paint was not even and there were apparent blemishes. The shock came when I put the wheels on the frame ... only three of them touched the ground. The upper right one was about 1/16-1/8" in the air. In the next half hour I tried swapping the wheels, inflating them, making sure the axles were perfectly lined up, etc. etc, but to no avail. If I pushed down one corner of the frame just a little, all 4 wheels were on the ground. So it seemed the bottom frame was crooked. I should've stopped there, but I thought adding additional weight would help. So I installed the handle and the spool. Still, one wheel in the air. Will return it to store tomorrow. What a waste of time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The company needs to read these reviews and make changes... How can you continue to put these wheels on this cart even though you've received numerous complaints about their inability to hold air? Or the overall durability of the entire product? At least put tubeless wheels and tires on the thing. The two-piece wheels allow for moisture contamination between the tire and wheel which leads to rubber cracking and leaking especially of the tubes. As a consumer, if you look at the reviews, owners that live in more arid regions of the country don't have as many problems. I live in lower Michigan and have had my cart less than a year and all 4 wheels/tires no longer hold air. The powder coating is pealing and rusting through in too many places. And if you read the warranty it doesn't cover wheels, tires, seals or any moving parts (Like the reel spool? Isn't that what you bought it for?)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works very well after modifciation during assembly. After researching four (4) different competitor models I settled on the Liberty Model 840 unit. The unit was shipped with all the assembly parts. The frame was not jigged properly, one side did not match the other side this caused the spool sub assembly to be mis-aligned when mounted. After sorting out problem the solution was to realign the spool mounting brackets to frame by drilling new holes. The alignment was out nearly 1/2 inch due the frame rails not consistent from side to side. This also created a issue with crank handle bolt interferring with the frame (not allowing 360 degree rotation). The bearing hubs mounted to the rims were only hand tight. Once these issues were addressed the unit is very functional. Repainted the frame to avoid rusting. Total assembly time with modifications 3 hours. With most units on the market now being manufactured in China you can expect some issues, missing parst or assembly problems. Good Luck!
