This is not your basic cheap plastic wall place. It is very nice lightweight but strong metal. The paint is a flat black and looks rather nice with my bronze and black fixtures in the master bathroom. If I had any complaint, it would be that it does not match the switches well and looks a bit out of place amongst the others in the room. I’ll need to change the other plates to match. These are nice. Assembly was a snap.
