can I replace 1/2 hp. unit with the 1/3 hp. will the collars be the same
Hi Chris, we’re glad you reached out! Yes, you can replace your 1/2 HP disposer with a 1/3 HP model. If your disposer is also an InSinkErator, the mounting assembly or sink collar is a universal part, which means it will fit all InSinkErator disposers. If the mounting assembly is still in good condition, you can continue to use it with your new disposer. Does it have a dishwasher connection
Hi Azhs, thanks for the question. Yes, this garbage disposer has a dishwasher inlet to connect your dishwasher for draining. However, please note that the dishwasher connector kit (model #: DWC-00) is not included and must be purchased separately. My drain pipe goes straight into the side of disposal
Hi Joyce, if you're currently using a straight pipe, please make sure that the discharge outlet of the garbage disposer is higher than the drain pipe in the wall to allow the water to flow freely. What model replaces Badger Model 9 ?
Hi eaw1973, Thank you for your inquiry. The replacement model for your Badger 9 disposer is the Power 900, which also features a ¾ horsepower motor. It is approximately 2 inches wider than your current unit, but the connections and plumbing align the same under the sink, so the replacement should still be straightforward.
