    Most doors are determine for the swing by looking from outside the house or outside the room. Interior doors are usually inswing door but can be turned to be an outswing. Thank you for your question.

    For the Molded 3-Panel Craftsman Interior Door JELD-WEN uses 3.5 inches X 3.5 inches 5/8 Radius hinges. Thank you for your inquiry.

    JELD-WEN only recommends cutting a quarter of an inch off each edge of the door. While you may choose to trim your door, please note that requests for warranty services could be denied depending on the circumstances affecting product performance. We may be able to provide a custom size to fit your door space, please see your local Home Depot store for ordering and availability. Thank you for letting us assist you.

    The installation was very easy and the finish was such high quality. I never had a door the open and close so smoothly as JELD-WEN. Well worth the money paid for this door. If I was rating the JELD-WEN door from 1 to 10, I would give it a 15. The style option gave me the look I wanted for my home gym/training room. I'm a golf coach and trainer this door fit the circumstances on both accounts.

    Love the look of these doors. Nice shaker style but angle around the panels slightly softens the look. Better than a hard 90 degree angle. We installed 5 pre-hung and also hung 2 slabs in the doorway into the den. I really wanted something different from the standard 6 panel and these are the best! Love them!
    Pros: Fits in Various Rooms, Functional, Well Made, Beautiful Appearance, Good Size & Fit, Great Detail

    As a previous homebuilder with nine years of experience, I have an eye for quality and attention to detail. I waited awhile to review these but shouldn't have. I purchased 14 doors. They were on sale at the time and my wife and I had purchased these solid core craftsman doors to replace the hollow core ones in our home we are slowly remodeling. The doors arrived on a skid and completely wrapped in plastic which made them impossible to view for damage. We accepted them and brought them home. I began to install them and noticed exposed trim nails first. Not a problem as I figured I would just break them off and hammer them in and wood fill. Then I noticed a warped door, so I put that one for a closet door. The sticking is also barely tacked on and not square as the previous reviewers had mentioned. The sticking is also bowed so the door does not seal square against it. I also believe the strike plate is bored incorrectly so when you install a lock set the door rattles inside the strike. Make sure to get adjustable strikes with the bend tab so the door will close silently. Some doors have the hinges inset inside the door cleanly following the hinge, while a few are simply screwed to a bored out rectangular inset. While the doors are a huge improvement to the standard flat hollow-core doors we had, the price of these doors is high considering the build quality. They don't have these in stock in the store so be careful ordering and know that they will be flawed and need repairs once purchased. I'll try to add some images later if possible.

    Very happy with this door assembly. The frame was made from straight boards and the door itself is heavy and feels 100% solid. Although this was the first time I have installed doors, the installation was straightforward - even in my old crooked house. Youtube and "Renovation" (5th ed) were both valuable resources that helped me figure out what to do. Very pleased with the final result. Would recommend.

    I ordered about 13 doors online as a special order. The doors are cute; however, the pricey doors does not mean quality of the material of the door is better than the regular $100.00 doors that are sold in the store. I knew the doors were mdf; BUT, the doors should be more wood and solid vs. little less mdf and hollow for the price of the doors. Don't buy unless you're looking for a style. Buy the cheaper doors.

    Manufacturer can't get basic dimensions right

    Door frame was longer on one side than the other by 1/8". We noticed something was off right out of the packaging, but we figured if we shimmed and installed one side level, the door would start hanging properly. Nope. Still drooping on one side. Finally decided to measure either side of the frame, and that explained it all. Had to rip out the frame and cut down the longer side. Honestly this is so basic. Major quality control issue. And this was a special order item. Also, give options other than stainless for the hinges. Had to spend another $11 to replace those ugly things.
