Solid Performance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Microwave was installed as part of an appliance package from our builder. Installed as a built in, but requires a large filler, so the look is not that great in a built in configuration. But, works great.

Great Replacement

Features are great but quality is lacking.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this microwave about 6 months ago and similar to other reviews the plastic around the start key is starting to bubble and peel. The until was professional installed and I watched them remove the plastic film covering after installation so unless there are two layers of protective film coming from the manufacturer this seems like faulty craftsmanship which is disappointing considering the cost of the unit. As it works really well and has a lot of features! It looks fantastic with the matching double oven.

$650 Paper Weight
Just over 1 year old and the controls broke. This near $700 countertop microwave (just about the most expensive consumer one you can buy) is garbage now and useless. Want parts? They more or less do not exist. Warranty? We're sorry, Kitchen Aid can't make something that works for much more than 1 year so they don't offer warranties further than that. My $4000 fridge from them is already falling apart as well (intermittently working water/ice dispensers, seals are all dried and rotted.)

2 year old brick
Microwave with a 2020 manufacture date is now a brick. Heated up food, shut the door, everything went dark. Service for microwaves apparently isn't a thing. Had to buy the same model to fit our trim kit, but I'm not happy about it. Avoid if you can.

Nice appliance. Size I needed.

The push button to open door seems a little flimsy. Beeps 5 loud beeps over and over (reminding - until you address it.

So far so good!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this microwave for about 3 months now. This is for our builtin island. It works perfectly for the space we have, the only issue was the trim kit that goes with this microwave. It didn’t fit with the cutout, so we had to order a customized trim kit from micro-trim.
We like the functionality of the microwave and some might say the microwave is loud, but we think it is fine.
Would recommend if someone is looking for an upgrade. (We had a Pxxxxxxxx one, and it died after 3 years. Would never go back to Pxxxxxxxx).
This is a nice upgrade and we love it so far. Hope it last!
