Hello, Trish617. Even with LG washers that have a Fabric Softener compartment but do not have an ezDispense® Automatic Dispenser like that on the 4.5 cu. Ft. Smart Front Load Washer with TurboWash® 360°, Built-In Intelligence, and ezDispense®, Model # WM5700HVA, fabric softener must be added to the fabric softener compartment so it can be properly dispensed during the final rinse cycle. Adding fabric softener to a washing machine without using the fabric softener dispenser can be tricky since you will have to pause the cycle at the right time to add the softener and you will need to avoid pouring it directly onto fabrics and always add fabric softener off to one side away from clothing items inside the tub so they won’t get stained or discolored due to contact with concentrated product mixture...^Ivan.
Hi there, Bonnie. Thank you for sharing your inquiry about your WM5700HVA washer. We understand your situation and appreciate you taking the time to reach out regarding the detergent dispensing control. While the washer is designed with a 4 Tray Dispenser featuring the ezDispense cartridge system that automatically distributes detergent based on the selected cycle, you may have the option to adjust the detergent level through the cycle customization settings on the control panel. As a troubleshooting step, we recommend reviewing the detergent level option in the cycle edit list to ensure that the machine dispenses the right amount for your load size and soil level. https://www.lg.com/us/washers-dryers/lg-wm5700hva-front-load-washer#pdp_specs Please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport so our team can explore additional settings or provide further guidance tailored to your usage. Hi there, Carina. Thank you for sharing your question about your LG WM5700HVA. We understand your situation and appreciate your interest in proper detergent use and vibration control. For detergent use, powder detergent is compatible with our front load washers when used as directed. We recommend adding it to the designated detergent tray rather than directly into the drum. This helps ensure that the powder is fully dissolved during the cycle, preventing any potential residue build-up over time. Regarding the anti-vibration pads, our washer is engineered with a True Balance® Anti-Vibration System to minimize movement during operation. Generally, additional anti-vibration pads aren’t necessary. However, if you notice extra vibration due to uneven flooring or installation variations, placing anti-vibration pads under the washer's feet may offer extra stability. https://www.lg.com/us/washers-dryers/lg-wm5700hva-front-load-washer#pdp_specs If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport, and our team will be more than happy to help you explore possible solutions. —Renzo
Hi. Regrettably, our specifications for the ENERGY STAR® Most Efficient/ENERGY STAR® Certified LG 4.5 cu. Ft. Smart Front Load Washer with TurboWash® 360°, Built-In Intelligence and ezDispense®, Model # WM5700HVA, do not show the Country of Manufacture/Country of Assembly for this washer. LG maintains manufacturing facilities worldwide, including our state-of-the-art laundry factory in Clarksville, Tennessee. To determine where the washer is made, you would have to look at the carton that it is shipped in or the nameplate attached to the unit that shows its Country of Manufacture/Country of Assembly. Retailers use different distributors to have products shipped to their warehouses and the country that the washer is shipped from may vary depending on the distributor. Distributors may ship products from the same country or different countries. The nature of distribution can vary significantly from one country to the next. Some distributors may sell directly to end users without importing...^Ivan.

Hello there, Herman. Thank you for reaching out. We understand that you're experiencing loud noise during the spin cycle on your WM5700HVA washer, and we'd love to help you resolve this. There are several common causes of noise during the spin cycle, and we can walk through a few troubleshooting steps to help improve the situation: Unbalanced Load: Ensure that the laundry inside the washer is evenly distributed. If you hear a thumping sound, stop the machine, rearrange the load, and restart the cycle. It's especially important for bulky items like blankets to be washed on the Bedding cycle to minimize vibration. Clogged Drain Filter: A blocked drain filter can cause noise, especially if the washer is struggling to drain water. Please check the drain filter and clean it if it’s clogged. Check for Foreign Objects: Sometimes, items like coins or hairpins can get stuck in the drum or filter. Please inspect and remove any foreign objects. Washer Leveling: Make sure the washer is properly leveled. You can gently rock the machine from corner to corner to check if it's stable. If it's not level, use a wrench to adjust the leveling feet and ensure the washer is in firm contact with the floor. Space Around the Washer: Ensure there is enough space around your washer, and that hoses aren’t knocking against the unit. This can sometimes cause additional noise during spin.
