2 year old machine- lid cracked and broke
Home Depot, you guys were great for delivery and service.
LG - has been terrible to deal with. I purchased this washing machine 7/2021. My 2 year old machine had the top lid crack and break. All I did was lift the lid, it wasn’t locked or had anything on top of it. It is now unusable and LG won’t pay for any parts, service, or labor. This is unacceptable for a machine we paid this much money for. They are obviously using inferior materials. Buyer beware.

Got this washed about a month ago absolutely love it. The whole stainless bin is amazing. Not to loud and perfect addiction to our family.

Black Flakes
This washer worked well at first. I have followed all maintenance instructions, but after about one year of use the washer started leaving black flakes on clothes. LG recommended running the tub clean more often, even three times in a row before washing clothes again. Even after multiple tub cleans, the black flakes remained.

Tub Clean was a good idea, but it could be something more like water buildup or mildew, which can be cleaned with vinegar and baking soda. Should be flawless for the price!
We have had the washer only 4 months, using it on deep fill mode each time. The washer does not completely remove dirt/soap scum. I had to re-wash a pair of white jeans 3x and they still have dark marks that were not on the jeans to begin with. Also, the beautiful grey surface is not scratch resistant and already looks terrible. The only perk of this washer is the large washing basin size, it’s nearly impossible to fill even 3/4 of the way with clothing. It holds a lot. Overall, I regret paying the $1,000.

Learning features
I know this is a high efficiency washer. I don't understand how my clothes can get clean without water on them. There are times when my clothes are not even in the water. After the cycle ends, I do an express wash and the water level covers my clothes. I will call product support this week.

Beautiful & Great features
I bought my new LG 5.5 CU FT Mega capacity smart Wi-Fi enabled top load washer/Turbo Wash 3D technology last month & I just love it! Had to work out a few kinks at first...user-error, easily solved by reading instructions. But all good now. It's energy efficient & offers lots of options that suit anyone's preferences.

Excellent Performance
This LG washer is well made and attractive looking! It’s our first LG washer and we’re pleased with its performance. We bought it as a combo with the dryer and the smart features are great. The app is nice but wish it had a feature to save a cycle setup to use again instead of picking them each time

Great washer!
I purchased this washer a few weeks ago when my old.one went out, similar model we had for 10 years with a large family we need the large capacity washer and dryer. I Prefer this model as it let's me add water plus option, I like to wash with more water than the smart technology allows. So far I am really happy with this washer, it is quiet, efficient and washes our clothes well!
