    Answer This Question

A:  Hey there. To find the serial number on your LG induction range model LSE4616BD, start by inspecting the label on the appliance's sides, back, or bottom. If not found there, check the underside of the control panel or, as a last resort, on the inside of the oven door or its frame. For further assistance, consult the user manual for your model or contact our live chat support. Hope this helps. ^ Diego

Q:What size (110, 220, 240 etc) electric outlet is required for this LG Induction stove? Model LSIL6334FE? Also what size circuit breakers?
        by|May 14, 2024
        1 Answer
        Answer This Question

A:  Thank you for reaching us regarding LG Range. The LG Induction stove model LSIL6334FE requires a 220-240V electrical outlet to function. It uses electromagnetic energy to heat cookware directly, making it more energy-efficient than traditional electric cooktops. To ensure proper installation, we recommend installing a dedicated circuit with two separate 110-volt breakers that combine to create 220 volts. This is necessary because induction stoves require more power than standard 110-volt outlets can provide. You can download its owner's manual through this link for more information: https://www.lg.com/us/support/product/lg-LSIL6334FE.BRSLLGA. Everything this range claims to do, it does well.
After 18 years of using the already decade-old range that came with my home, this was a much needed upgrade to the 21st century. It looks great and has been easier to keep looking like new than expected. Both the induction glass cooktop and the oven compartment wipe up with no issues. Not having a heating element in the bottom of the oven ( its in the back ) makes it very easy to clean up when your lasagna boils over, oops. The blue interior of the oven is beautiful, the oven light is bright and the window is large and clear so no need to open the door to see if things are done. The oven is HUGE. Great for large sheet pan dinners or if you want to cook four 9"x13" casseroles at the same time. Everything has browned evenly with no apparent hot spots. If you are not already using an induction cooktop, it will take you a little time to get use to it. What I was cooking on 6 on a 1990s electric coil element, I am now cooking on 4 on the induction. This has a lot more power and it delivers it quickly. Water boils shockingly fast which speeds up dinner on pasta night. Heat appears to be consistent across the pan, no hot or cold spots. "Excuse me while I update the firmware on my oven." is something you would never think you'd say, but LG did put out an update today that added some features. Why bother to mention this? It shows that LG is taking steps to improve the product you already own, not just sell you a new one. I didn't think Wifi connectivity was needed but getting a note on your phone / watch / Alexa when the oven is preheated or done cooking has been nice.

          LG induction range with convection
Really a 4.5 star but unable to select that. Look, induction is amazing and once you have it you really don't want to go back. Boils water in like 2 minutes. Some folks say well you have to get new pans to cook on it. If pan is magnetic it will work and most pans are made for induction. Beautiful blue finish inside which is easy to clean and the burner element is hidden so that's a plus. Overall unit regulates temps even and true and that's for both stove and oven. Airfry neat feature too. Works well. Overall super pleased with range and home depot's delivery was right on time and crew was courteous, careful and helpful. Now the negative. The remote WiFi feature is peculiar. Have to set oven in remote mode before you use the remote feature on your phone. However, once oven door is opened the remote feature cancels out. So it's kind of semi-remote. I will be calling LG to voice my criticism and asking them to fix this to make it fully remote like our older GE oven. But if remote is not a big deal to you this range is excellent.

          Amazing Appliance with Many Features
I have never used a range with induction capabilities, but let me say it makes a big difference in cooking. What used to take a while to boil a full pot of water now takes minutes. I was and am extremely impressed. It is easy to adjust the eyes with the knobs on the front. I like the boost feature, it takes simple seconds to melt butter! And if you lift off a pan but leave the eye on it will beep at you as a subtle reminder to turn the eye off; it also turns off the heating while the pan is lifted away and kept away after a bit, so you will have to turn the knob off and back on to restart it. The oven has many of the usual features such as bake, convection bake, broil, and air fry. The air fry feature really is nice, I've had a standalone air fryer before but it never had enough capacity for all of the food I wanted to cook, and this oven includes a tray for air frying a huge amount of food! The tray is easy to clean. I also appreciate the cooking timer, and the ability to see what temperature the oven is at. The storage for baking sheets and such is easy to get into, as it has an indentation for your hands on the top of the drawer to pull onto, I like that it's not pulled out with a handle, it keeps the aesthetic of looking sleek. Overall I am very impressed by this product.

          SWEET Induction Stove.
This is a beautiful stove and fit perfectly in our kitchen. The delivery included the cord, either three or four prongs. The knobs are heavy and feel quality as does the oven. The oven is blue and reslly looks great with the built in light. We bought new pots and pans because ours did bot work with the induction stovetop. The elements heat very quickly but do take a few minuts to cool down. We clean it with the included cleaner and the pad. You will need to purchase more, as the bottle is small. We love the looks and rhe quality of the oven.

          Best Stove Ever!
This is the best stove I have ever had! The induction stove top is incredible. It heats extremely fast, The heat is evenly distributed across the burner and is very efficient. I especially enjoy the convection oven. We’ve made a number of things now and I’m so impressed with how well everything turns out. Having the air fryer is a bonus. We can donate our old air fryer. The included air fryer rack is much larger and we can finally have more than a couple of onion rings at a time. I’m really happy with this stove and oven. Plus, it’s very attractive looking. The oven is a blue color, which is awesome. One last thing, the stove top is so easy to clean. Our old gas stove required a half a day to do a thorough cleaning. This takes a couple of minutes.

A needed upgrade from electric burners.
LG 6.3 cubic ft Slide-in Induction Range. A sleek, efficient, replacement to my old drop-in electric burner range. First challenge was to open my “slot” a little, needed one more inch. After tending to that, the range slid right in. Hook-up was a breeze with a new outlet. I couldn’t wait to get it all in place, so I had to try boiling water. It was amazing. Quick and no heat from the range, only from the pot. Once in place the unit was beautiful in my kitchen. The front panel is very intuitive and easy to navigate. Not a lot of miscellaneous settings to confuse, just the basics. Turn it on, turn it off. (but still a ‘lock’ feature to keep safe) Simple. Had to try French fries in the Air Fry function. Crisp and quick and delicious. Minimal clean-up inside the oven. The absence of residual heat from ‘burners’ is a big help here in Phoenix where kitchens can get very hot very quick. The oven still produces heat, so fine-tuning my roast-turkey skills will have to wait until fall. It has a “Smart” feature with Wifi connectivity, but I avoid connecting all my stuff to wifi, so I can’t address those features. The storage drawer at the bottom is a little clumsy in opening and closing. Seems a bit cheap compared to this higher-end range. Overall, I am very pleased with this range and highly recommend it. Side note, it works well as a stand-alone, too.

          Well engineered and quality construction
We’ve had the stove for about a month and like it very much. The oven is large and heats evenly. The induction range is a big improvement over our previous electric radiant cook top. The stove is well built and the controls are intuitive.

            LG's Induction Offering
Packaging Contents: Range, manuals and accessories First Impressions: Clean design Description: This is an induction range, with a wipe-clean surface. The oven is fronted with a WideView window in the door that encloses the convection features including Air Fry and ProBake functions. It includes the EasyClean cycle for self-cleaning. It is a standard 30" wide. It has four inductions spots, with precision controls that can quickly bring a pot to boil or hold a simmer indefinitely. There is even a boost mode to increase normal power levels for ten minutes. There is high visibility inside with a brilliant blue finish, and smudge- and fingerprint-resistant outer surface. The unit includes a rack, an air fry tray, cooktop cleaner and scouring pad. There is a downloadable ThinQ app with will give an extra year of warranty, as well as allowing the scanning of food packages to automatically set the range for proper cooking. Usage: The unit fit right in where the old gas range was located. The installers supplied the new power pigtail to fit the location, and attached the narrow strip of grill across the back edge to keep things from falling behind, as it has no upright display pane in the back. The display is right in the front between the element control knobs. Once the power was switched on at the breaker panel, the range front panel lit up and sounded a musical tone. The clock was easy to set. At that point, it was ready to use. The user will notice that there are two oven cleaning functions; the EasyClean and the SelfClean. The EasyClean is where water is flooded over the bottom area and the lower heat setting loosens lighter soil. The SelfClean function is more like the traditional self-cleaning ovens with which we are familiar. It seemed like a good idea to test the simmer function since it was mentioned by them. Using a pot that closely matched the element size, it was filled with water, brought to temperature and then set to simmer. (Trying to just bring it to simmer directly took too long.) It was fairly fast to bring to just bubbles before boil by using Hi/Boost. Then turning the control to simmer did maintain that nicely. I liked the idea that there are two oven temperature features that can come in very handy. When using the convection method, there is an auto-adjust feature that allows the user to automatically convert normal recipe temps to convection equivalents. There is also a way to calibrate the oven temperatures to those that make sense to the user. One thing we noticed is that the clock failed to hold its time when the power failed. Sadly there is no power backup included. There was some confusion regarding the element size versus a pot size. If one goes exactly by the minimum and maximum chart, very few pots and pans will fit exactly within the parameters given, and this can throw off many cooks; especially those with cookware sets. However, if one remembers that the range elements can be used like non-induction elements, it should all work fine. One can also worry about the seemingly delicate top surface. There are warnings regarding breaking it as well as how it must be cleaned. This may also unnecessarily worry the user. Burner placement may be inconvenient for some cooks. Having to go over big pots to reach the smaller back elements can prove to be difficult. When turning on the burners, they tend to make a humming sound. The bigger the burner, the louder the sound. I found it annoying. To make matters worse, there is a fan that runs under the cooking surface to cool it down after use. It was surprising how hot the cooktop gets during use. Evidently, the pots and pans transfer heat back into the cooktop, even though they are heated by magnetism. The burners cycle on and off to regulate the temperature. This a different and somewhat deeper and louder hum than the other sounds. This was also annoying. We could not find any way to adjust the brightness of the front display. It appears a little too dim. According to the manual, rather than offering the customer the whole range of features out of the box, this unit requires a smartphone to unlock additional items. One feature is that some brands of packaged food products can have their codes scanned and the range automatically sets itself for proper cooking of that product. Once we got to really use it, there were just too many problems with its use. Overall Thoughts: Not quite ready for prime time. I cannot recommend this product.

            Great Stove
This is the best looking oven ever, it has many benefits and features. One of the best features is the induction stove top, it's really nice looking performs far better than an electric coil heating element, but we had to get a few new pans. Our cast-iron worked fine but the other ones we had to swap out, the energy efficiency is so much better on this compared to gas for traditional electric stoves that's why we like it better plus it's so safe once we take the pot off the stove whether the knob is on or not it shuts off so the kids won't put their hand on top and get burned . Air fry in the oven which we use our countertop one a lot but this way we can get rid of that to make more space on the counter. This has knobs rather than the push button, andthey work fine. They're not loose at all. Maybe they've improved it. Again about the stove top being safer if you're cooking something and it's very hot you can take it and move the pot to a different part of the stove top where there is no burner so we can cool off there and the stove top won't be hot, selfcleaning, the steam cleaning which does not work that our old stove head I just also has a LED control. Underneath, hope pretty good but I wish it had a handle
