Q:where do i find outlet location
by|Feb 5, 2024
1 Answer
Answer This Question

A:  Thank you for your interest in the LG Range (LSIL6336F) model. To find the outlet location for the LG LSIL6336F induction range, you will need to locate the power cord and plug. The power cord is typically located at the back of the range near the bottom. It should be connected to the range and have a plug at the end that can be inserted into a standard electrical outlet. You can download its owner's manual through this link for more information: https://www.lg.com/us/support/product/lg-LSIL6336F.BRSLLGA. ^Cris

Q:Can the preheat "jingle" on the LSIL6336F be turned off? This is a pre-sales question. It might be a deal breaker if it's really as annoying as some people say, but maybe it can be adjusted with the app or with a firmware update?

          Love it!
I love this oven and the induction cooktop. I have always cooked with gas, and when our new home came with a standard electric cooktop I was frustrated with the slow temperature adjustment. This replacement is awesome. The induction is better than gas, no toxic fumes and just as reactive to temperature change. The oven works great with very even baking and the air fry and convection cooking are perfect. The oven sends your phone a message when pre-heating is done, your timer goes off, and it even lets you know when it wants to be cleaned!

            Nice but oven too hot!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extremely hot oven-hotter than temp setting indicates. Still figuring out how to not burn food!

Great feature of the stove space saver

                Much Better Than Gas
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It cooks very well and the oven reaches the temperature quickly. It would benefit from backlighting on the control panel but that might not be an issue with younger eyes. Boils water very quickly and you can dial in a simmer precisely.

Love the air fryer, stove top, and healthy air
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had this range for a short while, and I can already say that it is a vast improvement over the gas stove that it replaced. The air fryer made delicious crispy and moist chicken breasts. Also, following the instructions to put a pan on a lower rack to catch the drippings, we put halved fingerling potatoes on that pan. They required only a few extra minutes of baking to finish, and the added flavor of the chicken drippings was yummy. The proofing setting also worked beautifully for home made bread. However, the default 92 degrees is too warm for sour dough, which requires 78-80 degrees. The heating elements are miraculous in how quickly I can boil water, and it was easy to regulate the temperature for other stove top cooking.-- certainly easier than on a standard electric stove, but also much easier than on my old gas stove! Finally, I am happy to know that no one in the house - especially my grandchildren -is being exposed to the toxic, asthma aggravating, fumes that are released by gas stoves even when they are turned off.

So many features in a well designed range
I got this range for my vacation home that does not have natural gas or propane. First, I have several LG appliances in my home and rentals and I have only had a great experience, so when I wanted a range for my vacation home, I looked to this brand. My minimum requirements were: induction, convection, meat probe, and front control panel (back panels tend to fail because of the heat from the range top). Nice to have: air fry and self–clean. Well this range has all that and Air Sous Vide! I like the fact that the oven control is a dial that clearly details the different functions, instead of having to use a touch pad to scroll through the options. I like the induction sensing that will automatically resize based on the pan size – the front burner will go from 6.6” to 11.3” – that is amazing. I have the LG thinQ app installed and I find it very intuitive and useful for my fridge, washer and dryer. (BTW- you do NOT need to install the app to use the range). I can’t wait to use it for this range – features such as remote start, change functions, etc. Though I have never used air sous vide before, I am excited to try it out. It is nice to know that you can use Ziploc baggies (at times preferred) instead of vacuum sealed bags. There are too many features on this stove to list and at this price point – an amazing deal. I got this early so I knew where to install the range outlet. The outlet should be at least 5” from the left side of the stove (looking at the front) and no higher than 7” (see pictures) – I like how there is a nice deep alcove so the large plug will fit nicely. Now if only my construction would go faster so I can use it!

Love the New Induction Cooktop Technology and Convection Oven
Give yourself the gift of saving time in the kitchen and upgrade your cooking experience to the LG electric induction range. We recently changed out our electric oven to the LG electric induction range and have thoroughly enjoyed all the features we never knew we needed. The setup was easy but we almost forgot to install the rear filler at the top back of the stove. It definitely makes a difference if you have a 1-inch gap between the back wall and oven. It’s optional but is a nice feature to have for the aesthetic look of the oven and to not have to worry about something falling behind the oven. Every burner has a thin horizontal red light appear when turned on, making it an easy reminder of which burner is on. Safety wise the hot surface light remains on even after the burner is turned off until it is cool. It comes with an air fryer tray that fits great on the rack. Using the air fryer setting you don’t need to wait for preheat time, the default setting is 400 degrees. We chose to air fry vegetables with parchment paper on top of it and they turned out perfectly crisp holding in a lot of flavors without being dry. Our previous electric oven had the warming burner in the middle, and we like the way the LG electric induction range has two burners in the front and one warmer in the left and middle sections of the top. This makes the right side warmer a great location for the I’m done cooking pan. When you pull out the bottom tray the oven light automatically turns on. We noticed while cooking the heat didn’t carry into the kitchen air like most ovens do, the induction technology transfers heat only to the cookware causing temperature control and saving electricity by not having additional heat added to the kitchen. You could carry on a conversation and not feel like you’re sweating by the oven. Efficient is the definition of the induction range, not only does it heat water evenly, boiling water in under two minutes, the heat is evenly distributed to the food item you’re cooking in a pan. WIFI setup was very user friendly. We just had to scan the QR code and connect it with the LG ThinQ App. With the app you can receive notifications about the oven being turned on, when the preheat is ready, and completely turn off the oven with one touch on your phone. It’s optional to have the push notifications on your phone, but it’s a nice feature to have in case you have a busy crowd in the kitchen or trying to juggle multiple cooking projects at once. If you’re in another room and need to keep track of something in the oven, you can set a timer through the LG ThinkQ App that connects directly to the oven and when the timer is done, you’ll receive notification on your phone and the oven will serenade you with a jingle repeatedly until you select the timer off button. The only adjustment that we had to make was noticing the cooling fan noise after the oven was turned off. It only lasts a few minutes and then goes back to being quiet. At first, we thought the oven was still on, but saw it was just the fan. Having the LG electric induction has been a game changer in saving time in the kitchen.

                    Exciting new technology
Wonderful 240V induction slide-in oven range by LG. I like the new technology of the Thin-Q mobile app for pre-heating the oven remotely. I like how the cooktop does not throw off heat from the burners, especially during summer climate. I tested every existing pot and pan to see which ones worked and donated the ones that didn’t. You will need a set of induction-ready cookware which is not very expensive but well worth it. The oven works well with every function you'll ever need and I am excited to try Air Sous Vide for cooking some steaks! The cooktop cleans up easily and spillovers will not bake into the finish.

Enamel scraped off, risking food contamination
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this range for one month. While much is good about it, we've encountered one serious problem: — The blue enamel interior has already scraped off where the racks rest, exposing bare metal than surely won't age well and, more seriously, creating flakes of enamel that we found scattered through the oven. Another review noted this yet rated this range 4 stars overall; I consider this a serious health and safety risk. With a convection fan, these shards of enamel are bound to end up in your food. We will contact our retailer for a return or other remedy. (Sadly, I see at https://www.houzz.com/discussions/2270633/oven-porcelain-lining-flaking-chipping-only-with-blue that this is a longstanding problem that occurs with many brands.) If not for that, I would rate this 3 or 4 stars because of the following comparatively minor detractions: — The cooktop makes unpleasant, shrill noises, sometimes while operating (our hood covers some of the noise) and regularly afterwards for 10–15 minutes, which is distracting if you dine within earshot (I suspect a low-quality cooling fan). — When you push the Timer button, the range beeps but does nothing. You have to push it again to activate the timer. — If the timer is running and you turn off the oven, the timer stops. That’s not good if you were using the timer for the cooktop or something else. — Air Fry mode, as explained in the manual, is just convection bake with a +50 °F offset, which you can nullify if you want to stop kidding yourself. — There is no convection broil mode, which my last range had. I would gladly replace Air Fry mode with that. On the plus side, the performances of the cooktop and of the oven have been good, and I was pleasantly surprised by one aspect: — At the bottom of the oven, there is no heating element, either exposed or hidden. Baking is done entirely with the convection element at the rear. Hidden baking elements can be extremely difficult to replace as they are accessible only from the oven's rear (part of my decision to upgrade to this range), so this was a good design. The convection element appears to be easily replaceable, like the broiler element.

                      Great range! Love induction cooking!
It's a nice looking range, easy to clean inside and out. The electronics on it are great. Once you connect via wifi, it will let you know when preheating is done, when timers are done, send reminders to clean. You can also start and stop the oven remotely. Love the speed of the induction burners and responsiveness. Turning the knob up just a little generates an immediate response in your cooking. They also have a "boost" mode that gets things boiling really quick! You do need to make sure your pots and pans are compatible. Not too tough, just use a magnet, and you want them to be very flat. We are still learning what we want from our pots and pans, so we didn't go out buy a full set right away. The oven preheats very quickly and cooks very evenly. We like the built-in air fry mode. It will take a bit to get used to how long and how hot to set it, but the results are great! Highly recommend this range, we love it!
