Great features but it broke within 2 weeks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the look and features of this washer. Unfortunately it self destructed 10 days after being delivered. It was beyond repair but LG is refunding the cost to me.

Bells and Whistles - AND Clean Clothes
Really, what more can you ask for in a washing machine? It is beautiful. My wife loves the large capacity. It has wifi connectivity AND it gets the clothes clean!
The 5.5 cubic ft basin is one of the largest (non-commercial) machines I have seen. This thing tackles quilts, delicates, towels, bedding, and all of the muddy mess that my kids throw at it daily.
The machine runs quiet and you can literally stand there and watch your clothes get clean (if you have the spare time). Who does that?!
The pleasant chimes and sounds make this a much more enjoyable machine to use as well. Finally, I don't have to jump from my recliner when the ghastly buzzer wakes me from my slumber at 11 pm. I could go on and on about all of the features and what-not but if you are reading this far into the review and still have not made up your mind. Stop reading because you obviously are the sort of person that needs to find out for yourself.
Buy the machine, use it for two weeks, and then try to tell me it is not superior to your previous washing machine. LG has done a great job with this machine and now I find myself looking into how I can replace my dish washer with an LG machine that will actually do the job.

My new washer is rusted!
Very excited to get this unit but after one use the wash tub has rust spots and a stain. Totally unacceptable after one use.

best washer and dryer I have ever own
they are easy to set up and easy to use I have had them for about 2 or 3 weeks. they wash and dry so quickly. I haven't figured out how to use the app feature yet but I am love with how simple they are to use and how clean my clothes are

LG= Love Greatness: Great products and service
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a month ago. Most of my TVs and home appliances are LG so of course when it was time to refresh my washer/dryer appliances I had to simply stick with the best. The black stainless steel finish, all the features including steaming, quietness, and 5.5 capacity makes this unit aaaaamazing! I did encounter one issue where a collar stay got lodged in one of the drains and was causing some mechanical issues and ultimately shutting itself down due to its safety feature from preventing the unit from sustaining any future damage. I immediately called LG support and had a tech out within 24 hrs. Tech was very professional and knowledgeable. He even provided some educational Dos and Donts, part of which convinced me in buying washer bags for delicate materials.
