It works like it's supposed to. It holds the washer...
It works like it's supposed to. It holds the washer and drier in place and it raises it to a level where we don't have to bend down. It's very tall with the washer and dryer, so make sure you have the cabinet space above to accommodate them as I had to shave the bottom of my cabinets to get it flushed.

Works fairly good, but happy I added it to my 29" LG WM8100HVA & DLEX8100V set. I got the WD200CV Sidekick & this pedestal drawer to match. The drawer is a little on the shallow side and hard to even get shorter laundry sized bottles in there standing up. I’ve had to utilize my shelf on the wall above my machines for several of my bigger bottled items which I was hoping to hide away in this drawer. I can however fit a traditional size Shout spray bottle in there, smaller Tide bottles, along with my laundry pod containers and other small things. The max clearing height would be 10-1/2 inches inside the drawer, and most bottles have been between 11”-12” from the store. Even the smallest softener bottles from the store are taller than the drawer which is a real bummer. I purchased a large squatty jug style water bottle with a spout and big handle and repurposed it for my softener, to be able to keep it below in the drawer, and just replenish it when it gets low. The machines are so large, I’m not tall enough to reach the shelves easily like I used to. Other than that, the drawer is handy for all my other laundry and cleaning supplies, like pod containers, dryer sheets, etc. It’s a good addition to my laundry area to keep things in an easily accessible spot for me.

Wish I would have read a few of the reviews on this product before purchasing it. Like others have said here you can't even fit standard size laundry detergent bottles in this over priced storage bin. I am pretty bummed on how expensive it is and it doesn't even do what it's supposed to do. What engineering genius at LG decided that putting laundry detergent into a laundry machine pedestal would be a bad idea? Now the detergent bottles sit on top of the machines again...

No installation after washer and drier installed
Dont buy unless you purchase at time of purchase of the washer and drier. They wont install it if your washer and drier is already installed.
