The Legend Force 1-Man Earth Augergive you the power to drill holes for decks, fence posts, tree planting and more. It features a 52cc engine with a bit speed of up to 285 RPM for quick efficient drilling. This hard working machine includes an 8 in. auger bit for supreme drilling capacity.     A:  The auger bit is 14/16th inch. Echo has an extension that hd carries. Also HArbor Freight has one. I modified it so I could use the factory cotter pin I didn"t want it to wiggle. I drill a bigger hole in the extension that corresponded with the head u

      Took ot out of the box dug three holes. Stop to get a drink of water, came back pulled string to recrank and cord gets stuck out. NOT WORTH THE MONEY

          Don't waste your time
          Purchased and could not start the thing. Returned it to the store and got another thinking it was faulty. The replacement would not start either. My husband and I wasted an entire day. Finally returned for a full refund. This should not be sold in stores as it doesn't work.

            The post hole digger actually works well assuming you can get it started. The recoil starting system is totally inadequate for the excessive amount of force required to start the digger. Mine failed to recoil on the third pull. Although I was able to remove and free it up temporarily it failed soon after. The Auger Extension Kit linked online to this product is not compatible with this auger. Returned it and bought the “Earthquake 43cc which worked flawlessly even with less power.

            Cord wouldn't go back in
            It worked fine to dig holes but after a couple uses the cord wouldn't go back in to start it. Now we're just going to return it. If they let us. It is defective. Don't want to waste time fixing something and buying parts for something almost brand new.

              Defective!!!!!!
              I’m a woman, and after 5 pulls of the cord, the cord wouldn’t retract. I didnt even get it started. Do not waste your money on this crappy contraption!!!!!

                Tool works great. It's excellent for triggering and easy handling I would say very well. I would just suggest the tip a little sharper and slightly larger so the person doesn't lean so far to make the holes in the dirt.
