Product Overview

  • Sets in 2 hours and cures fully in 24 hours
  • Bonds with diverse materials, resists water, solvents, and more
Loctite Marine Epoxy is a two-part system consisting of an epoxy resin and a hardener. The convenient syringe dispenses equal amounts of each component every time. When mixed in equal volumes, the resin and hardener react to produce a tough, rigid, high strength bond in 120 minutes. It can be applied and cured underwater. Ideal for repairing pipes. It cures to a white finish and can be easily sanded or machined. It does not shrink and is resistant to water and most common solvents. Recommended for bonding metal, concrete, glass, fiberglass, ceramic, wood and certain rigid plastics. It's ideal for PVC, copper, brass and galvanized pipes and surfaces exposed to water immersion.
  • Permanent epoxy ideal for projects requiring high bonding strength on surfaces exposed to water immersion
  • Bonds with glass, metal, wood and other common materials
  • 2-part formula consists of resin and hardener
  • Set time of 2 hours and fully cures in 24 hours
  • Can be applied and will cure underwater
  • Convenient dual syringe allows for a precise mixture of resin and hardener in every application
  • Resistant to water, moisture, solvents and impact
  • High strength bond in 120 minutes

Can this be used on a cracked outdoor spigot that will pressurize when opened

Asked by: Wayne
The Loctite Marine Epoxy is not designed for applications or pressurized systems. The epoxy more than likely will not hold up depending upon the amount of pressure that it would be exposed to.

Our old fiberglass tub/shower has developed a crack along the bottom (center where we stand). Will this work for this application? If not what is recommended?
Asked by: hseobush
I have not used this product specifically on fiberglass, but I have used it successfully on PVC pipe, metal, etc. I believe this product will work to seal the crack on fiberglass. Be sure to clean the area first.
