  • Sets in 2 hours and cures fully in 24 hours
  • Bonds with diverse materials, resists water, solvents, and more
Loctite Marine Epoxy is a two-part system consisting of an epoxy resin and a hardener. The convenient syringe dispenses equal amounts of each component every time. When mixed in equal volumes, the resin and hardener react to produce a tough, rigid, high strength bond in 120 minutes. It can be applied and cured underwater. Ideal for repairing pipes. It cures to a white finish and can be easily sanded or machined. It does not shrink and is resistant to water and most common solvents. Recommended for bonding metal, concrete, glass, fiberglass, ceramic, wood and certain rigid plastics. It's ideal for PVC, copper, brass and galvanized pipes and surfaces exposed to water immersion.
  • Permanent epoxy ideal for projects requiring high bonding strength on surfaces exposed to water immersion
  • Bonds with glass, metal, wood and other common materials
  • 2-part formula consists of resin and hardener
  • Set time of 2 hours and fully cures in 24 hours
  • Can be applied and will cure underwater
  • Convenient dual syringe allows for a precise mixture of resin and hardener in every application
  • Resistant to water, moisture, solvents and impact
  • High strength bond in 120 minutes

I was trying to create a water drainage system. With Yard shark lawn trim. Glued it topgether. Plastic! Didn't hold very well, never bomnded in all places. used some sort of super glue & plastic window screen & coated with flex seal spray. Never finished the project. How about flesx seal liquid in a can. Ed

Can this be used on a cracked outdoor spigot that will pressurize when opened

Asked by: Wayne
The Loctite Marine Epoxy is not designed for applications or pressurized systems. The epoxy more than likely will not hold up depending upon the amount of pressure that it would be exposed to.

Our old fiberglass tub/shower has developed a crack along the bottom (center where we stand). Will this work for this application? If not what is recommended?
Asked by: hseobush
I have not used this product specifically on fiberglass, but I have used it successfully on PVC pipe, metal, etc. I believe this product will work to seal the crack on fiberglass. Be sure to clean the area first.

Loctite 0.85 fl. oz. Marine Epoxy is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great underwater I find this product to be much better than the two part epoxy putty that also cures underwater. It adheres way much better than the putty. The only drawback is that it is a liquid and may drip, underwater sag, or float away in a current. I got around this by spreading the wet product on a piece of aluminum duct tape. I let it start to set and then applied it underwater. Worked like a charm.

I used this Loctite Marine Epoxy inside my plastic dishwasher tub after the heating element burnt a half inch hole in the bottom of the tub causing water to leak onto my kitchen floor. I applied 2 applications at the time and 3 years later it is still holding well with no leaks. Thanks for the $5 fix. Beats buying a new dishwasher!

This particular Marine Epoxy is the best of all of the Epoxies sold in the US. The best is made in Germany but is not sold here. Now HD has made the bone head move of not putting it up on the shelf for sale in San Diego a water sport town. It holds better than any other product for water vehicles. Total bone head move not to have it available to for when something breaks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Doesn't dry white I bought this to fill in some screw holes in the floor of my white fiberglass boat. The epoxy seems to set up as a light yellow instead of a pure white. other than that it seems to harden and hold just fine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Strong bond, but not quite white Easy to use syringe which created a strong bond when I mended a hole in my plastic fence. It's a white fence, and the Loctite dried quite a bit off white, which I touched up with some paint.
