MMI Door Fiberglass Patio Doors are built to last and can add substantial curb appeal to your home. This fiberglass smooth patio door unit comes with our MSystem 2 Warranty on the Door Component and the Base Prehung System as well as a 10-year warranty on the Glass Lite. All of our fiberglass smooth patio doors are virtually maintenance free and will not warp, rot, dent or split. Our prehung door unit (called the MSystem) seals out the weather and practically eliminates air and water infiltration all together. Door size is 60 in. x 80 in. Unit dimension is 63 in. x 81.75 in. The suggested rough opening is 63.5 in. x 82.25 in. This unit comes with a 4-9/16 in. wide primed composite frame.

    A:  The unit dimension is the outside-to-outside dimension of the frame. For brickmould dimensions, just add 2.5" to the unit width and 1.25" to the unit height.

        A:  They won't sell you the screen separately, but will sell you a unit that includes it for $500 more. Expensive screen!

          A:  We do not sell patio door screens separately on HomeDepot.com, however we do sell the patio and door with screen included. For the same style door with the screen included, please see model# Z020540R.

            The contractors who installed the door said "Oooh - This is a good door.. nice and heavy !"... The only problem was when we tried to install the Dead Bolt, and the pre-drilled edge hole was off-center by about 1/8" (low and to the side), making it impossible to install the bolt mechanism. I had to router out the hole with a power drill and of course I chewed up the edge of the door in doing that.. an obvious Quality Control Issue at the plant :-( Once we got the deadbolt hole fixed and installed, the door looks and works great and the fiberglass frame should last alot longer than the original builder-grade wooden door that rotted away after 10 years.

            Perfect fit. Love the internal blinds. Had no idea that it would come with a channel at top and bottom of exterior for a sliding screen. Cannot find where to purchase the screen and would love to have it but had I known I wouldn't have purchased this door. The raised channel on the threshold hurts bare feet and could trip a person. Should have come WITH the screen or been an added option.

Some factory quality issues:Did not care for the giant staples pounded In to the brick mold for shipping or the grimey hand prints everywhere or the stripped and missing hinge screws.

            Door is super heavy duty and well made. Was not thrilled with the huge staple holes for shipping in the gorgeous brick mold that I now have to fill before painting. Could easily used straps instead. Also the grimey hand prints everywhere and the stripped out and missing screws in the hinges that I have to fix and clean. Why is it we don’t Buy American again?
