Q:Since the glass is not shatter-resistant, is it tempered? What would it take to break it? Isn't this a concern for folks--being a front door??

A:  Hi heather, The glass is tempered and stronger than standard glass but it can still be broken. This is not an impact glass door so there is no testing done to determine what would break it. Thank you.

          A:  Yes. We painted ours with a brush and it took the paint fairly well. Much like painting a steel veneer door.

            A:  Hi Priyanka, Yes this model can be repainted. A light sanding and thorough cleaning is recommended to allow the new primer and paint to adhere properly. If a dark color is desired, a product with a heat reflective pigment or formula should be used. Thank you.

                Beautiful door only one flaw
                This door is beautiful and I am so excited to have it installed so that I can add more light to my entry way. Only issue is a design flaw where there was a round piece of plastic that caused the sealing around the middle window to raise, I am unable to remove it at this time due to it being attached with some form on clear adhesive. I don't have it installed yet but I'm sure even with the minor flaw it will be a beautiful door.

                    Great door, lousy screws
                    Door is very well made and went in nicely. The only issue we had is that the long screws they include strip easily, so I used deck screws instead. The long screws are important as they sometimes have to be adjusted/removed as part of the door installation process.
