I had a hard time finding the number I needed for my shower however I was able to get the amount needed after going to several local stores. One store gave me 13 tiles instead of 13 sq ft (9 tiles in each) but made it right. Another store gave me all single tiles and a lot of them were broken. Now that my project is done I will be returning all the broken and extra pieces to the store and hopefully get a refund for my troubles.
But my shower looks amazing and these tiles are beautiful!

I have used these tiles before on my fireplace surround. This time, I used it for decoupage coasters. I love that they are all different and unique. Many craft ideas with these tiles.

I used on laundry backsplash. I wanted the stone natural and use a dark grout. I sealed six times...
I used on laundry backsplash. I wanted the stone natural and use a dark grout. I sealed six times before grouting. My pastry bag broke so I couldn't keep grout in the crevices only and had to use a float which meant my holes filled in with the dark grout. Even with he six coats of sealer the stone stained from the dark grout. Not the look I was aiming for but that was my own fault. Just know that even with sealer this stone will stain.

These tiles are perfect what I use them for; handmade beverage coasters. The subtle differences in the tiles add to the charm of the handmade craft. The only problem is getting some broken tiles in the packs.

Excellent back splash
Bought the tile for a kitchen back splash. Went up very easily with little difficulty. Bought 40 square feet of tile and only one piece was broken upon opening packages. The variety of surface texture and color is what we were looking for in a back splash. Just went up this week, so don't know yet how easy it will be to clean, but did put on two coats of sealer.

Perfect!
We were looking for a way to fill in a huge opening above our stone fireplace. It was originally designed to make a place for our then fat TV, but with the evolution of the flat screen TV, the opening just looked like a huge, black chasm. The problem was how to fill it in without looking weird or breaking the bank. We headed to Home Depot to look for a solution and were thrilled with what we found. The stone tiles really complimented our stone fireplace...as if it were cut from the same stone! My husband did a beautiful job and now the fireplace doesn't just look updated. It looks BEAUTIFUL! We were happy to find trim pieces that matched to make a sort of frame in the stone. I love it! Now it's inspired us to use these same tiles as a back splash for the kitchen!

Beautiful kitchen backsplash!
The tile is tumbled so it is not uniform and smooth. This is kind of scary when you first open it and we did have to toss a few for broken corners and holes that went clear through. But, our installer said it was easy to cut and quite uniform overall. Once he grouted and the holes became semi-filled, a beautiful look was achieved. The new backsplash did wonders for our cabinets and granite. There are about 3 different shades that I would call, cream, beige, and taupe. Be careful not to use too dark a grout. We went with "bone." The glass tiles were inexpensive and came in 12" x 12" sheets. What an inexpensive way to make your kitchen look elegant and modern! We feel like we're in Tuscany every time we're in the kitchen.
