Asked by Carlos August 13, 2020Carlos, good question. This is a customer forum and the comments here are usually from other customers. I have not seen this option but I may exist. I can recommend that you paint the hardware but that requires good prep work so that the paint will stick.
My door opening is 30 1/4" and with the casing it's 35 3/8" - Can I get away with this 36" wide ...
Asked by Stasia July 25, 2020I think the 36" will work for you. We made the mistake of measuring just the opening (36") and not with the casing (42"). The result is when the door is closed there are gaps. If unsure, hold up 36" of fabric or something and take a look.

Can this door be cut down in width?
Asked by Kikila January 27, 2020In theory you should be able to cut down the door because it is a SLAB door. In practice you may find that you wind up with a raw edge that has gaps in the wood which will not look finished. Even that can be fixed by wood filler and paint. The door is made of pieces of wood glued together, they should run vertically within the door, so it should not compromise the integrity of the door.
