Perfect Pairing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am short at 5'0" but too old and stiff to be constantly bending over for laundry. The pedestals are way overpriced in my opinion and the pull on the front looks like chrome but is plastic; however, I am glad I purchased them as they keep me from having to bend over and they hold all of my laundry soaps keeping the area neat and tidy.

Bought two of these and installed under a mating washer and mating dryer with no problems. The pedestal height got the washer and dryer openings up high enough to make loading much easier on our backs. Pedestal is of a sturdy construction. Drawers are deep enough to be useful in storing laundry supplies and open and close easily. Adjusted the levelling screws under the pedestal high enough, so the was no problem with the drawers opening on the a carpeted floor.

Pedastal Installation for Maytag Model MHW5500FW0 washer
We had to replace a Maytag 3000 series washer. I was hoping the old pedestal would work on the new one but it didn't fit the new one. I ordered this one and when I received it, it has almost the same dimensions as the old one. When this one is mounted, it does not fit perfectly like the old washer. The old brand was flush in the back. The back of the new washer has a two inch overhang over the pedestal. The front however does match up with the front of the washer. I thought I would have to return it because it was two inches shorter in depth but it does work.

Nice Drawers, Use Caution When Selecting Color!
We purchased a new Maytag Washer and Dryer that was shown with pedestal drawers, but when you added them to cart the site doesn't offer you any to match. We did an online chat and were directed to these. I am unsure if they are made by the same company, but they are designed to be used with Maytag washers and dryers. However, use caution when selecting a color as the color names for these pedestals do not match the names used my Maytag for it's machines. So, you have to guess or call customer service to ask which (in this case, shade of grey) best matches your machine. We did so, but even though they tried... the pedestals delivered were chrome, the machines dark grey. On this site, you'd think they were the same color. HD customer service was VERY helpful in making this right for us, but triple check your color before ordering. The drawers are very sturdy and unlike the Samsung ones they replaced they are actually tall enough to fit a bottle of bleach, detergent, etc. in so we're actually using them.

Don't buy without the pedestals!
They are worth the pricey cost as they add stability to the washer and dryer! Plus if you are looking for a "complete look" they really dress up your laundry room! I love doing laundry now!
